Surf 99 stains: no closing date.
Pick up any pack of Surf washing powder that mentions the '99 Stain Guarantee'. You have to phone the freephone number and speak to a real person and explain why you weren't happy (and mention one of the 99 stains that the powder didn't work on). You get your refund in vouchers for Unilever products (lots to choose from), and usually you get quite a generous amount.
Remember to keep the packaging as the person on the phone will ask for a code from the box

Ha ha I must be rubbish at this - I have a big box of Surf and just phoned them to say it didnt get certain stains out and the guy just told me to soak them and wash them again
No offer of money back or vouchers. Help - what should I have said?
    thanks
Christmas 2010: cashback £124.50, Tesco clubcard points: 4220, Nectar points: 1037, Dooyoo miles: 15770, Harrispoll: 2490
    Xmas presents bought - 6, cost £29.46 - saved £102.39 :j

With Merrydown Gold cider i have tried Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsburys with no luck.

With walkers crisps i have claimed 14 refunds in july and august. recieved last refunds on 19th of september. So they can take a while and always seem to come in batches.

With Surf it took two go's to get my moneyback. The main thing is to be persistant.

That's right, you've got to mention the guarantee when you phone them (in a casual 'it's only just occurred to me, I never do this sort of thing usually' sort of way ;))

No tips for baby food stains, I'm afraid - I remember most of my DS1's bibs had dodgy yellow stains on them I could never shift  :o
  • No luck with this one anywhere. Has anyone found it yet please?
Someone on Bob's claims to have found Merrydown Cider with offer collars at last, at Waitrose. None near me to check this out. Hope it helps others.

Plenty of promo Merrydown bottles in Waitrose and Morrisons today, so it's appearing slowly but surely.

Phew... thought I'd sent everyone on a wild goose chase :o .

Token from neck collar needed, till receipt, and 15+ statement saying what you like / dislike. Closing date 31.12.07, max one refund per h/hold. Max refund £1.79 - no postage refund mentioned.

Yorkshire Tea marmalade cake TMF. (edit actually i think it is all Yorkshire tea cakes, but you need the yellow sticker on them)

Found it today in Sainsburys - you get £1.99 refund. Packs have a round sticker on them.

Purchase by 31/10/07 and you must claim within 21 days of making the purchase.

Found the Yorkshire Ginger cake in Tesco yesterday. I would have preferred the marmalade cake but free's free! ;) Was very nice in a big bowl of custard. :p

Just noticed there's a token on the Yorkshire Tea cakes (and all the other YT products). If you collect 10, you can send them in and they'll send you a voucher for a free cake! :j

You can also 'buy' tea towels, mugs etc for your tokens, but have to pay P&P. Or send them to a Freepost address and they'll give money to a tree planting initiative. All details are on their website www.yorkshiretea.co.uk - go to Gifts.

Like I needed a reason to eat more cake :o:p
