I used to listen to Downtown when it was the only stereo broadcaster, listened to it recently and it seems to be in a timewarp, except there is no Bill Smith, remember him - the Downtown Downbeat Guy....OMG.
Cherrie McIlwaine on Radio Ulster plays some lovely stuff and has a voice like warm ale on a cold day.
Does anyone bother with DAB?, my reception in bt61 is non existant most of the time on R,Ullster ,Downtown etc. The BBCs are OK.0 -
DAB in Norn Iron is pointless unless you're a coolfm or citybeat listener, get yourself a dab/wifi radio and you can listen to radio from around the world (or indeed the better UK/ROI stations) hassle freeNorn Iron Club Member #64
