I hope nobody minds me posting all these pictures, I took them today and am quite proud of my growing efforts so far. There have been a few failures but to be honest I think most of them came about from me planting seeds too early in the year. I have loads more pictures but ill hang on until things have grown on a bit more then put some more up.
The second cucumber plant was one I bought in morrisons at about 4 inches high. I lost all mine but one and was worried I would loose the last one. The morrisons plant has grown taller than me, its at the top of the greenhouse and im going to have to train it along the bar at the top.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -

I LOVE veggie/fruit photos so please post as many as you like, whenever you like!
Well done on growing everything so well, everything of mine sems to be taking an age to produce flowers/fruit so it is good to see what i can (hopefully) expect from some of my own endeavours.Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

Today (Tuesday) I went to Morrisons and couldn't see any black buckets, so i asked a member of staff if they had any, she directed me to someone else...that someone else directed me to someone else and that very nice chappie went in 'the back' and came out with 4 lots for me. They were supposed to contain 8 buckets for 99p but he gave me extras in each pack so i got 9 extra totally free!
I then went to B & Q and all the clearance/nearly dead veggies were being sold off for 5p a tray...i purchased some nearly dead sprouts and some nearly dead cabbage...hopefully now they have been potted on, they will grow well for me.
This evening was warm so i spent a bit of time in the garden potting up aubergines and peppers that i have grown from seed, into the morrisons buckets. I know the growing season isn't in full swing yet, but i am already mulling over my gardening errors for this year and thinking about how i will do things different next year. I think i might make a few notes/diagrams or next year i won't remember any of these ideas and will no doubt make the same mistakes again.Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

It's lovely to see your pics - you're making fantastic progress! :T
One question: how do you get photos to display in the post rather than just as a link? The second cucumber plant was one I bought in morrisons at about 4 inches high. Your cucumber plant is very impressive. I got one from B&Q but sadly somehow the stem got damaged after a while and the whole plant just died - it's a shame because it had really good, strong roots. I will just have to try again next year!0 -
Hi everyone - haven' posted a message for ages but I have been reading all your Posts, love how well everyone is getting on and also love all the Photos.
Been making the most of the good weather and spending loads of time up at the Allotment and if I'm not up there then I'm in the Garden. This is my first year with an Allotment so I'm on a steep learning curve!! So far so good, loads planted up so now just got to wait for the Fruits of my Labour!
In the Garden I've already had some salad leaves and still plenty to keep us supplied, had loads of Radishes and still keeping those going, had a few Strawberries also. Plan today is to pick some Gooseberries for Chutney which will leave room for the rest of them to ripen up into a good size. Blackcurrants are starting to change colour and this year looks like a bumper crop, can't wait.:j
Also got some more planting to do up at the Allotment today, my cabbages, sprouts, swede and Purple sprouting Brocolli are ready to go in. Taking my Suncream with me.:D
Have a good day everyone.;)"WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!"GC for OH, myself, DD18 & DD16 includes Toiletries, cleaning stuff & Food.

I use photobucket. Above each picture there are 3 options, click the link Share.
A new window with 3 tabs opens, click the 3rd tab, get link code.
you need to copy the link from the headding IMG for bulletin boards & forums
Then when you post on the forum click the icon insert image which is 4th from the right. A box pops up asking for url of the image, delete the text thats in the box and paste your link. you also have to delete everything before http in the start of your link.
if it has worked the photobox error message appears, when you click reply the picture will show up.
I hope that helps, there may be a better way but this is the only one I know.
Thankyou for the lovely coments on the pics!DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -
