I watch it too i cant believe the size of the dresses. I felt sorry for the girl who got her wedding cancelled you would think that would be illegal.0

Certainly opened my eyes re the traveller community I had no idea they were so strict with their kids... I just don't get why they let their young girls dress as they do it doesn't make sense... interesting nonetheless...
and those dresses were GINORMOUS...... and soooooooo tacky!!#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

I'd love to know how much those dresses cost  It is so hard to imagine a dress that weighs 27 stone :eek:0

I think the tacky part has to do with the fact they are so young.0

I posted this in another thread as my GF knew a designer that made these type of dresses and some came in at £25k but these where Central London prices and the designer is well known for her wedding dresses.snapping_crocodile wrote: »I'd love to know how much those dresses cost  It is so hard to imagine a dress that weighs 27 stone :eek:0

No sex before marriage. No living together before marriage. Virtually no divorce.
That's how things used to be for most people in the UK. I still remember being embarrassed/sniggering when a friend said she was moving in with her bf before they married in the late 70s.... and that was just by a month or so.0

LOVED the programme. Have read somewhere the dresses are in excess of £15,000!
Not quite sure if there the dresses I had in mind, but some extreme designs. Can't really work out why some of the venues were so snobby though, I understand sometimes there can be fights but couldnt it happen anywhere?0
