Hope you're feeling better! I hurt my knee a few weeks back and had to rely on my OH to taxi me to all my jobs. I'm also getting my wisdom tooth out on Wednesday _pale_ so that'll be another few days off work. Does make it harder to get back into the swing of things.
Had all four of my wisdom teeth out many moons ago - are you getting put to sleep? the fear of getting them out is actually the worse part - just stock up of chocolate mousse, painkillers and mouthwash and you'll be right.

Can anyone offer me some advice please?

A query has flagged up on an assignment I have done for RE. However, when I go to answer in 'your reply' and click submit I am getting an error message which says 'please check your reply'. Am I doing something wrong? or is the website being funny?

I have emailed RE about it, but as its the weekend not sure if they will reply.

    Thanks x

It is -unsurprisingly;) an IT glitch :D

Try to use IE v 8 as your browser, that may work.

If not, don't panic, either email them the answer to the query or if it still doesn't work by Monday and you have no reply to the email (most likely) then ring them and ask them to call you back!

Oh another helpful contribution from another amateur. I am so glad I am not on your cheap gift list.

Was my post directed at you? No but thanks for your very helpful reply. Another amateur I may be but I am not sitting back and watching this nastiness continue. I may be shooting myself in the foot but I am going to start reporting the unfair/nasty comments in this thread and urge others to do the same.

Amateur or not, I believe I may have picked up this quote correctly
And remember…. Be nice to your fellow MoneySavers

, maybe its time for you to re read the thread at the top of the sticky, just in case you have trouble finding it...

  • there has been a lot of nasty personal posts and i have actually tried to report some of them. however i dont use outlook so cant!

I don't use outlook either but I thought it worthy to put myself out a tad and cut and paste the email address and also the subject line into my normal email provider and then explained in a few words why I felt it needed reporting.

I'm being sedated. Going into the dental hospital (the bonus is it's free!), the dentist looked at it, told me he had to cut away at the gum and chisel away at the bone and recommended that I be sedated! I promptly agreed and he isn't going to be getting a student to do it either. I've already pre-booked 2 days off my normal work sick.

Good idea with the chocolate mousse! I've got some jelly and noodles so far.

I'm off to do my one job of the weekend, then jump on the train. The Italians have decided to have the roof open at the stadium today, meanies. Wonder how many pages I'll have to wade through tomorrow hehe.

 you're not too old to go over my knee young lady :naughty:

As for all the nasty stuff - I don't know why the 'professionals' don't just stick to their secret ebay group. The initial help on this and the previous threads has been much appreciated, but I wonder how many potential shoppers have been put off by the nastiness?

Haven't been totally useless while I've been ill - been doing my ED surveys bit by bit...just need to do the customer service calls for all eleven surveys now then that's them done. Have a couple of underground sarnies to do today and an electrical store which I should be ok to do with DH being my taxi.

Have a busy couple of weekends coming up and hopefully I'll be at full speed by then but I'll need to pick up as much as I can to cover the days I've been off sick!

Glad you're on the mend. Funny thing, isn't it, how when you're self-employed you still work when you're off sick!:rotfl:

Agreed :D. I've been MSing even when tired from doing over-time at work and i'm one of the laziest people you'll ever meet :rotfl: Never knew i had it in me. MSing has really inspired me to get off my butt and work for extra money. Seeing those extra few pounds tally-up gives me a buzz. I love it, regardless of the MS company ;).

Got the lurgies at the mo, so have had to release today's jobs . Couldn't extended the shop dates unfortunately.

Hope your dental op goes well Lil_Me. I had mine out about 11 years ago, and after all the scare stories i heard, it really wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. You'll be as right as rain after a few days:).

Hope everyone has a chilled weekend :).

As with people who do not like jobs without fees well I got a night away last year in a lovely hotel via RE and I did not get paid but I had a great time especially as food and staff were all fantastic. So it was worth the loss on paper due to petrol and other costs to get a nice treat.

Service Science, Service Scan, (even CHG  ) pay a fee and have ample re-imbursements for hotel jobs for singles and couples.

And who gives you the right to say what is 'productive' for Millerose? Maybe doing a low paid MS job is productive for her! It would be to me also if I was getting something that I could give as a gift that I would have bought anyway!
