You get that with a lot of fast food places as well and I was told it's to do with competitive setting and also the popularity of the restaurant.

I've taken the pizza job, it came up today. My daughter has been asking to go for a while so it will be a nice treat. Even though it's a loss I'll have a good time. Plus we can walk to this one :)

Always my favourite kind of job, be it in paid employ or mystery shopping. Something very liberating about being able to walk to it :)

Hi All, I am not trying to avoid doing the leg work myself I have been msing for about 4 years with a number of companies but would really like to find out who does M & S, I have never seen them on any of the self allocating sites and althouth I work for companies that allocate runs have never come across them. Would anyone be prepared to PM me pretty please.

I walk to my real job-all the way into the dining room where my office is set up-I love it-desk to sofa in three seconds at the end of a shift- and the office coffee and staff canteen are good too ;)
As an added perk my boss is in Belfast and I'm in South East England

    Food or non food ?
There's actually more than one company -I can think of four I've done M&S jobs for (all are on the first page list) and I know of a fifth

Ooh, I didn't know there was a secret group. Or should I say once secret as it is now in the open. Who broke the confidentiality rule?! :rotfl:

    :rotfl:

It was actually never a secret. It is, however, private. The idea being that it is not open to all and sundry so we don't get trolls or aggro ;) The group is genuinely supportive, which is what I always thought mse was supposed to be.

I do know that M&S have their own MS within the company ;). I have seen recently for my local area a company listed on Page 1 of the thread using them. I couldnt do it as I needed to be travelling.

Would someone be kind enough to pm me either an assignment number or location for one of the hotel jobs which were on the RE alerts thread tonight? I rang RE yesterday to find out why a lot of jobs I see on the alerts thread don't appear on my RE account (despite having a lot of different locations set up on my account). I was told they can't look into it further without having an assignment number?!:(
    Thanks in advance...:T

I remember doing MS work on written paper and sending it in via the pre-paid envelope, then a return envelope came through 2 weeks later with a cheque.
You new lot really dont know how easy you have it doing it all online now, imagine having to go to the post office on a regular basis (and I mean regular) with batches and batches of envelopes.

Yes, DH, I remember that well! In fact, it seems like only this morning I stopped off at the PO with an envelope or two. Oh, ..... hold on a moment ..... it WAS this morning!!! :rotfl:

Yes, there are still some companies who still haven't moved over to online allocating and reporting! Vive la difference!
The one weird thing with the company is how the prices vary from restaurant to restaurant in a way I could never quite put my finger on. It's one thing if your restaurant in central London charges 15% more, but when different branches that are within a few hundred metres of each other in the same city elsewhere charge differently to each other it's über weird. The pizza is the one thing I almost miss about gap...

I just don't understand how the burger places can have such differing prices! Gyp don't seem to understand this: I have mentioned it to them on many occasions when discussing the reimbursement level.:(

Wow a secret/none secret group lol whats the criteria to join (i'm assuming being stupid question free for at least a month and not abusing the secret group members as a standard need) LOL :rotfl:
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!
