Enjoy squeaky! I did 7 of them yesterday and got some funny looks. Annoyingly one place was restocking the shelves, that wasn't fun!

Today is a day of rest for me. I did 7 crisps, 1 supermarket audit, 1 petrol and a chicken dinner yesterday. So today I am doing nothing!

I've had a week off MSing because of half term, but even so, I did so many jobs the first 2 weeks, February 2010 is currently my busiest month ever!!!

My turnover for this current year is, at the moment, 115% more than last year so whereas I haven't previously bothered with mileage costs and misc expenses, I'm definitely doing so this year because I don't intend paying the taxman anything at all!!!

That's happened to me twice in the same supermarket - very annoying, I agree! Took me AGES to do that one - then a security guard seemed to be walking past me quite a lot; I was convinced he was going to haul me off and take my phone :rotfl:

Gyp rang me at work on Friday to get me to do a greasy burger job either Friday or Saturday. I agreed to do it on Saturday, but only as a drive-thru... well, I only forgot all about it :o. I remembered at about midnight last night... not much use then. Have logged on and tried to reschedule for today; today's date comes up and I can select it, but date showing on the assignments page is still yesterday... I've sent them an enquiry, but doubt I will hear back today! What do you reckon, should I just do it anyway, and hope for the best?! Can't believe I forgot!

I have a drinks one to do today, am really nervous about it for some reason! And it's snowing outside again...

Well, I have done the sandwich one and also the broken crisps one (quite easy to crush them up in the car and then go back). But last week I decided I was bored of those and so bought some choc biscuits - blimey they're hard to break!!! LOL!!! I was bashing them on the steering wheel and gearstick but they were solid!!!

So my advice - sandwich or crisps but avoid the choc digestives!!!!!:rotfl:

Right, this is a money saving tip here.

The egg shop do a "simply value" chocolate mousse 4 pack for 26p.

Buy it,take it to the car and gently lift the foil lid.Take it back.

    Eggs - 118p
    Mousse 26p

Leaves over 150p for you to get something you want.I put together a lovely chili for me and Mrs Shopper on the last circuit (8 shops) and it tasted better for the fact it was free.

Mind you,as a structural engineer/surveyor I do tend to take a practical approach to these things.

nb - the mousse is actually quite nice.

Are those of you doing the liquor audits finding that they are not worth the fee? There is one near me that they keep emailing me about but for some reason I was hesitant and didn't apply. Now reading the info on here, I'm getting the impression that it's a lot of work for the money??
I'm 50/50 on this one. I managed to get 7 done in an evening, which is quite good going. But there was also probably a few hours of admin that I did before and after to type up all the results for all of them.

If they do more of these, I probably will apply but may be more careful about the ones I'm applying for.

Word of warning on the egg jobs - don't get own brand boxed cookies....they are a nightmare to break!! but their shortbread breaks nicely...right down the middle!

Thanks, might try that one. A bit of variety.

Found with broken/crushed items they tended to replace it. With sandwiches that were 'off' they would refund the cost. This means a wee bit more money in your pocket as you are still reimbursed the same amount.
