They are competitors based on location. So by me I can get some peri peri chicken as they are based opposite one of the pizza restaurants. They also cover a couple of delivery competitors that were on RE recently. Not the one that delivers to me though :(
I wish they did the chicken competitors near me! Bloody love that place!

  • You can not shop the same site twice in a row regardless of the shop month (is what is on the website)

    How do you know?
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!
  • This links to every job on Gap. You can see who the competitors are here!!

(I can only make the link work in IE)

If you try to accept it, and no-one else has shopped it in the meantime, it will not let you accept the job.

  • Hi.

I'm new to Mystery Shopping and have joined with a company. I have 3 jobs pending next month.

Im scared to death of the tax side of things......... I have looked at the previous threads but its confusing me.

Am I right in thinking that I need to fill in this form? "Self Employed people with small earnings"?

On this form it asks what my expected earning are? I havent got a clue as what to put as apart from the 3 jobs Ive applied for I dont know if I will get anymore. I dont think I will earn over £5,075 in a year.

    Should I estimate?
Do I have to sent it off now? or wait until April?

Anything else I need to know about this form please?

    Thank you in advance x

Firstly we are currently in the tax year 2009/2010 for which any earnings and associated tax will be notifiable after the 5th April 2010 - so there's no panic! The best thing you can do is ring the HMRC and ask - that way you are getting the correct advise from the horses mouth and once you're armed with the facts things will hopefully become a little less scarey!

  • Hi.

Thank-you jc2703 for your reply. I will indeed ring them in the morning.

Sorry, Ive another small question to ask......

On the form it says that I can take off expenses. Would car parking, petrol, and printing paper be classed as those? how much would I be able to claim on this?

I did several of the liquor jobs and have to say that I felt "mis-sold" the job by the company that allocated these. They clearly said that we were to carry out product availability audits with letters of permission from their client. If I had know that they were pure market research and that I was going to be nothing but a pain to Licensees then I would not have accepted these jobs.

Also a little more info on the project that we are involved in wouldn't have gone a miss so that I could have answered the basic questions of what I was doing there and how it was going to benefit the Licensee!
