Hi.How do you know if you are allowed to take babies or children with you?does it depend on the shop or the company?is it specified somewhere?thanks

i would have thought taking a child would make u less likely to look like a MS :)

Lucy it depends entirely on the company. And they are often guided by the client. The main reason is they want you to make a judgement without being distracted by children. I think if it doesn't say use your own judgement. ie will the children distract you.

I have the opposite. My lovely mum has Alzheimers disease. believe me MS'ing keeps me sane. I am doing a job for one of the good companies next week and asked was it OK to take mum ( as they know about her). They hesitated and said its OK providing she doesn't distract me.

Wish I 'd never told mum I do MS'ing as she loves blurting that out in shops. Like " my daughter she's a MS'er" even when I am doing the ordinary shopping.

Sorry it was P46 and BACS form, completed it 2wks or so ago and they emailed me to confirm receipt 4d ago. I can access the ESA site with my login details but cant find the jobs board.

Nina go to the left under where it says inbox. Click on open oportunities. Reset the distance to 500 miles to show all. And Bob's your uncle.

You're all a bunch of vicious hypocrites.

Does anyone know if Esa approves of having children with you?I've seen a couple of jobs one in a historic shop which I assume would be ok as it is an enquiry but the or
Other is telephone shop where you have to ask a few question to the assistant after you reveal yourself.do you think it's ok to email to ask them?

Made a really stupid mistake yesterday. Last job of the day, in a hurry to get home. Bookies visit. Only as finishing the questionnaire did the alarm bells start ringing. Yep, I did the wrong bookies. Hadn't checked the address properly and it turns out there's another one, of the same brand, on the next block. Aaaaaaaagh!!

Don't be afraid to give them a call or email them. I'm sure they'll be happy to clarify. We can't really advise unless we've seen the briefs ourselves.

I eventully spoke to someone at RE about my pics and they were OK with it. Actually confirmed what someone posted before that they hold `stock` photo`s anyway. I was slapped on the wrist for deleting the blurry image and was told I should`ve used that one!
Anyway thanks to all of you who have supported my initiative in my moment of panic :o and I am very happy to offer help, in any form, and advice to those who may need it in the future!
I have been a mystery shopper for a long, long time back in the old days when reports were done on paper and I don`t think I would have survived this long if I "falsified" reports as I was accused of by someone who does not know my track record with the companies.
I love this thread and the continued advise and support it offers to us oldies and newbies alike.
It is like any family, different ages, sexes, ego`s so there will be bickering and squabbles but were are all here for the same reason......to earn a crust.......or a sarnie in my instance.
    Thanks, I feel better now:T

    Morning

All set for busy days today? Ended up doing 11 jobs yesterday....as well as taking DS2 to physio (15 mile in one direction) and step kids to their mums for the weekend (20 miles other direction) and was well and truly b0ll0xed last night!

Doing it all again today.... another 11 jobs but if I get them all done today I can stay in my pj's all day tomorrow :j

    Have fun!
