I know this is an old post but i have just been reading it and i have to say that i dont believe this at all !
I mean come on ? 42lbs - 3 stone in one month ?
Yeah rite !
Thats a bit harsh, why would someone have reasons to lie about how much they have lost? I lost 7lbs in the first week of doing it, so it can be done...So much for 'Money Saving'0 -

Lol , seriously , you are being gullible !
Loosing 3 stone in just one month is NOT possible !
Look at people who have surgery to help with weightloss...gastric banding etc....they are consuming miniscule amounts of pureed food and even THEY loose TOPS of 1 / 1.5 stone per month !
I reckon the op is posting such a massive weightloss just to show the posters who doubted her that she is doing well....0 -
Healthcounter.com is 4.59 for the powder0

Not only does it work that way but the longer you use it the less ability you have to eat a large meal. I'm struggling to get my daily calories about 1000 now because I have a much smaller appetite. That's the main reason I use meal replacements like Slimfast. It helps you to change your lifestyle because the longer you diet the less you are able to eat. I'm full after half a shake now. I use it as a discipline aid - if I'm full I won't snack because I just can't do it.
Its much easier and beneficial to have a balanced diet with a steady exercise programme. Slim fast preys on people wanting quick fixes, or people who know no better. A diet of :
-Porrdige & honey
-Nuts as a snack
-Lunch wholemeal bagel with some fish or lean meat and salad
- humus and celery, carrot as a snack
- fish / turkey (with ginger and chilli) with broccoli or cauliflower
Would be enough calories and is cheap as chips. This coupled with exercise would be an option with much more longevity.
Eat less, move more
P.S per 100g of slmifast its 50g of sugar!!! and 6g of fat
People need educating on a balanced diet and not won over with quick advertising and rip off prodcuts0 -

So the two people that I have witnessed, in person, lose a similar amount in the same time were just hallucinations? It is VERY possible, so shut the hell up, no-one cares what you think. We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -

At the end of the day, the OP knows what she has lost, and should be proud of it, not have to read posts from people like you 'doubting' her. And no, I am not being gullible - It can be done.So much for 'Money Saving'0 -
it's 3 for 2 on the bottled shakes in superdrug instore today until i think the end of august (don't think lemon meringue flavour is included)- i think it's £1.55 a bottle there at the moment so works out about £1.03 per bottle. Good luck slimfasters!0

But the key point here is that this is a discussion forum for PRICE of a product that some people want to buy, on a Money Saving site dedicated to that purpose. By all means, take your discussion of healthy diet vs. Slimfast to a more appropriate forum (and by you, I mean everyone that wishes to pass comment on the product rather than the availability of bargains), but please let those people who wish to use the product and simply want to find the best prices make their own decisions without preaching/textual abuse.2021 Targets

You may want to try reading back to your first post on this thread - You are the one that has instigated this by doubting the OP. If you have nothing better/nice to say then do us all a favour and !!!!!! off.So much for 'Money Saving'0
