I don't use slim fast as I don't find it too good taste-wise or nutritionally. But that is personal preference. I use a product called Forever Ultra Lite - in Vanilla and it is gorgeous and 200 cals a shake. Have it for breakfast when doing school run as too rushed as a rule feeding three kids to get time for me! I also buy it from myself!!3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Thanks guys! Been absoutey everywhere today and the best deel i could find was Lloyds Pharmacy at £4.24 (Ment to be haf price but its not £8.50 anywhere lol).
Other than that the Tesco stuff was £6 for 2 so im gonna try them and see what they are like.
To all of you that are calling Slim Fast - I know its not a healthy long term solution BUT I need to loose a couple of stone very quickly to enable me to start fertility treatment so im hoping this is going to doo the job!
Thanks everyone for all your replys! x x
ok, this is NOT meant to be nasty .... before all the "you're a meanie" posters come out - I'm trying to hopefully give some advice...
Slimfast is NOT the way to do it. 99% of the people I know who have tried slimfast for a couple of weeks have noticed absolutely nothing except that we are constantly hungry!!!
Slimming world however, I'd eat bacon hashbrowns eggs for breakfast. make myself a huge bowl of coleslaw and cook a jacket potato and beans for lunch, then have a good dinner of meat, some veg etc..... I'd have mini babybel in the evening. The first weigh in I went to "you've lost 3lbs" !!!! I couldn't believe it, I'd been eating like a pig, never felt hunger at all.
Don't even go to classes! You obviously have the motivation. Just get the books off Ebay for a tenner, and away you go. I think there's even a SW support thread on MSE that you can join in and get all the help you need! I know people who have lost a stone in a month on SW!0 -
I've been using the Tesco one for a quick brekky alternative. Saves time and keeps me satisfied til lunch. Definitely worth a go, it tastes alright.
Also, ignore everyone making your attempts at weight loss their business.

I think I may try this, sometimes dont get time for a good breakfast and I'm not too keen on food in the mornings anyway. A shake may be the way forward!2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0 -

Costco used to do 6xstrawberry slimfast shakes for £5.99. I haven't looked for it for a while because tesco had a better offer a few weeks ago.
my boyfriend and i keep a few in the fridge, they are great for when we don't have time for breakfast.
Take no notice of the negative comments - if slimfast works for you then i say good luck to you!0 -
Can I just say, for anyone with diabetes, please check the sugar content of slimfast. I used to have slimfast for breakfast - it worked for me in conjunction with a healthy diet, but since I've been dx'd with diabetes I've had to stop taking it because of the high sugar content.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0
