Buy the slimming world books from Ebay for a tenner, eat yourself silly, AND lose weight too!

What a shame the person just asked if there was any cheap offers not for people to come reply with negative comment. . Its hard losing weight and really destroys you mentally and to have people who dont know you make harsh comments just makes it all the worse.

I quite agree, some people should keep their comments to themselves. How rude!

OP I regularly use slim fast (and for those with negative opinions I am a size 10!) and find it works well. What you may be interested to know is that the TESCO own brand is cheaper and only has half the calories as Slim Fast. Tastes just the same. Hope this helps. Good luck with it and ignore all the rude people on here!!:beer:

Sorry, I dont know where there are any on offer, but just wanted to say to the OP, please ignore these nasty comments from low lifes!! I know how hard it is to loose weight, and dont let the posts stop you! Do what feels right for you, and if it is slim fast then so be it!

I also believe Slim Fast is no good for you. Your body needs food and natural nutrients. There's no need to be offensive about it, though. I would advise you explore other options before using this stuff as has been suggested already. Personally I got very heavy in my mid-teens and have lost almost half my weight just by eating more decent food, smaller meals more often and doing pilates. I eat more now than I did then . It takes longer but it lasts forever, you know? It's worth exploring why you've put on weight and trying to rectify the issue before resorting to fad dieting in my opinion.
Whatever works for you, I wish you luck anyway.

hi - ive been looking myself today tried boots, tesco, asda, morrisons . they arent on offer in any of them .

however in tesco they have there own brand of slim fast which tastes just the same for 2 4 6 pound and each tub is 12 servings. whilst in there i also found the single drink portion reduced to 50p - so i also brought some of these .

I am not allowed to eat lunch at my desk at work, everyone is encouraged to eat out which is difficult if you are dieting. So I have a glass of Slimfast for lunch which helps keep my weight in check and I can eat sensibly at breakfast and dinner (or not).

It works for me.

Thanks guys! Been absoutey everywhere today and the best deel i could find was Lloyds Pharmacy at £4.24 (Ment to be haf price but its not £8.50 anywhere lol).
Other than that the Tesco stuff was £6 for 2 so im gonna try them and see what they are like.
To all of you that are calling Slim Fast - I know its not a healthy long term solution BUT I need to loose a couple of stone very quickly to enable me to start fertility treatment so im hoping this is going to doo the job!
