There was probably a glitch with how fast your duck was travelling then. Like you mentioned in your previous post that it may not show you it is travelling at a faster speed than it states. I'm not going to finish the race in under 5 day's so I don't know why you think my duck is travelling faster than it actually states, yours must have been too lol.0

Mine wasn't, every time I updated it I checked the distance traveled and it matched perfectly with what it should have been. I've got an excel sheet that predicted the distance at each update, and they all tallied perfectly. Getting a time that fast has taken me since the start of the competition in working out exactly how the game works and how best to time the updates to get the fastest speed.
Yours was travelling faster because you did 8500 in 55 hours, it may not be now, but to do 8500 in 55 hours it WAS.
The fastest possible time going at 126knots is less than 5 days (4 days 23 hours 2minutes and 51 seconds to be exact) so going less than 5 days doesn't show it's glitched.0 -
Well I have been working hard to keep my speed up since the start of the competition. My duck does 20 Nautical miles every 10 minutes with a speed of between 125-126 knots.0

I managed to get a duck to finish in 2 days and 3 hours. Every time the "glitch" happened I jumped forwarded 2500ish miles every 10 mins. But the only way it showed the glitch was by jumping my duck forward, and clearing all the tops I had done, so if I hadn't have been watching it I wouldn't have noticed.
I didn't cheat (wouldn't have a clue how), but I do know what I did to get the glitch to happen and was able to reproduce it to show my husband. To stop the glitch you just need to re log in.
But O2 wont show my duck anywhere on the leaderboard. I did write to them, but they haven't responded yet (I just get a message saying you need to top up your duck once more before it will show on the leaderboard).
I don't like how O2 are running this comp in general I don't believe that with only 68 top ups anyone could finish within 2 hours of the maximum time without cheating.0 -

You can.
I didn't think it was possible before, but after some experimenting it is, and it's possible to go faster with fewer.0 -
I have also written to 02 regarding the problem. No written reply yet, but I have been contacted by the Quackyraces help team requesting a time to talk to me directly. I will keep people informed.0

I find that my duck speed will hold for at most 10 mins. For SID to have only been topped up 68 times in five days and maintain an average of 124, knowing that the fastest is 126. He would have need to have topped it up to exactly 126 each time (including the first time) and for his speed to have dropped no more than 1knots each 20-30 mins.
Personly I find it hard to get it to exactly 126 each time and need to top up constantly and my duck will normally lose more than 1knot at a time.
With O2 knowing that there are speed glitches out there I do think it is unfair to still offer this as a winner only prize and would be happier if they changed it to a random prize. They could always limit entry to the top 100 fastest or something to keep people interested in the ducks.0 -

If that was how it worked, sure. But it's not.
I'll explain exactly how the game works on the 31st

So far my duck has travelled 12,675 nautical miles in 3 days, 22 hours and 46 mins. Anyone done any better?0

Who's duck has been disqualified from this competition, if so did you get a notification that it had been disqualified?0
