Oh poo, thats exactly what I was going to say!!! Alright I admit...I wouldn't have been able to be quite as elequent as you & would have thrown in a bit of name calling so I'm glad you got there first.;)

Sorry to hear about your problems with the computer...You could get a job with PC Worlds tech guys, you seem to know as much as they do about computers. :D

Pity in a way, I've recently found out we've been paying insurance on old laptop for three years. Course, as we didn't know insurance had been added, when it stopped working, we bought another one. I know its MSE but I LOVE paying for services when there is no service!

Glad you got a giggle from all the recent craziness but relieved you didn't snort your coffee all over the computer.

Hope Mike feels better tomorrow, I'm sure your message will help... I'll be spreading my coins outside in your honour..hope you find them.

Time for bed, goodnight everyone. ;):)

Careful Mike... next thing you know, you'll be asking karma to come help you out! It's a slippery slope!

So made a really hard phone call to youngest and I could hear he is disappointed - this was going to be the boat out/Chinese buffet weekend. They deserved it. I miss them. They miss me!

Aww, Mike. There's nothing I can say that will make it better. If I had a magic wand, I'd wave it (and you'd no doubt grab it off me and hit me over the head with it for not having had the sense to wave it before now!). But for now, all I have are big squashy hugs for you and your boys!

Can you send them daft wee postcards or something so they know you are thinking of them (which I know they will know anyway)? I tend to send my neices and nephews random whoopee cushions, paper planes or any wee things I can post as I don't get to see them often and I know they love getting mail :). (Though I'm not so sure about the 3 year old liking mail. He tends to refuse to open mail 'cos it'll be another bill :rotfl:)

    Take care xx

Yay - you made it back :j ! Hope the dentist wasn't tooo painful or expensive. My Oh went to the dentist today after not having been for 2 years :j- he's managed to change from private to NHS so it's only going to cost 200 pounds :( on top of the estate agent fees for moving :(, finding the new deposit etc, etc . Grrr.

    ONLY £200??? Blimey...

Oh Mike, does the silly cow not know about the house? Did your boy not explain?

    xx

She is a spoilt child and everything revolves around her. I just didn't need this last night.

Really sorry to hear the funds won't be available in time for the treat :(:(:(.
You can still look forward to it though, I hope?
It's good you managed to get home in one piece and without resorting to the skirt and heels - 16 miles in heels is not a good prospect.
By the way - struggling to keep up here! What a nice chatty lot of people you've brought together :)

    Fab, aren't they?

Hey hey. Glad you got it sorted and will be sticking around for a bit longer SB. Haha. Excuse the crap layout, i'm using my mobile cos i'm in bed.
Well, i had the most awful morning. Had the docs to get my monthly checkup (ongoing illness). Everythings fine for now. Then went in to work and things went from bad to worse. I was so angry, got a pure bollocking from my MD, then he offered me a promotion and a payrise. I totally accepted. I'm so chuffed.

That's such good news. Strange way of informing you of a promotion though...

Just caught up reading all the pages since my last visit. Sounds like you all had a blast last night, sorry I missed it!

The bad news from yesterday is I sort of broke my computer. It's been running slow and freezing up on me so I decided to clean it. (Don't try this at home) I took the side off and stuck the vaccuum in there being very careful not to hit too much too hard. The fans were all gunked up so cleaned them, had to take one out to do that then noticed the heat sink thing was all fluffed up too so defluffed that too. Stuck everything back together again and tried to boot my pc. It would appear the vaccuum had sucked all my programmes of my hard drives - Gosh! that must be one hell of a sucker I got there!

After a couple of hours of trying to reboot with no drives and trying to figure out what a bois set up thingy is (I still have no idea), I was almost resigned to the fact that I'd have to buy a new pc. So it was do or die. I put on a rubber glove and started poking things that looked like they could be poked (I had turned it off but not unplugged it). Rebooted. And hey presto! it worked! Yay!

    Anyone need their pc cleaning?

The good news for today is that I found 300% more money on the street than the monthly interest credited to my ISA savings. Yay! 3p!

Don't worry Mike, I'll have that £150 for you soon! Oooh seem to have missed a few words out there, should read:

I'll have that £150 for you no time soon! Sorry but at least I'm trying.

Mike, glad you got home ok from the dentists. Good news about the boiler! Bad ex - I guess it just reaffirms to you exactly why she's your ex! A point to consider though, she isn't going to be doing herself any favours with your sons if her attitude to you shows to them! I'm sure they understand and her intollerance will speak volumes to them (if not now then in the future when they properly understand all the intricacies of relationships). Mike, it's her problem not yours, please don't accept ownership of it.

Welcome to all the new posters over the last couple of nights (especially Jonni - thank you so much for helping our Mike).

Thank you all for giving me such an entertaining evening of reading, I've really laughed out loud on occasions and almost spat coffee out a few times!

I hope you all have a better day tomorrow.

Mike, keep your chin up mate, we're all routing for you as you know. You have such a wicked sense of humour.

Anyway, I must get off now, so hopefully my pc will stop freezing and I'll be able to get some stuff done.

Good night all and take care.

    Poo

Glad you got your PC sorted. Go Dyson!... My Electrolux sucks like a pensioner.

I think the boys need to know her reaction. They'll be horrified. But I don't want to upset the apple cart - they have to live with her for a while longer.

I'm sorry I threw a bit of a wobbly there. I think I messed up the meds yesterday morning which can have a sudden effect. The dogs weren't impressed by such an early bedtime, but will be talking to me by lunchtime probably.

My ex, and life, are both biatches!

Sorry ur Ex heaped a bit more guilt fix on you when ur feeling lousy enough already about not having the boys over its enough for u to have do deal with ur own stuff without having to feel guilty on some1 elses behalf:( - did you reply yet? You probably already have but if not......i'd suggest keeping it simple and dare I say it civil! (prob get a heap of abuse for saying that) I have found tho that if I determindly keep friendly and civil there comes a point where being had a go at becomes impossible!

    I just said:

Having counted to 30, I'll try and explain.

I think it's the second weekend in four years or whatever I have had to change. I'm sorry it inconvenienced you again.

I was waiting for the bank to refund some money. I will need it for petrol and food for the weekend. It was promised for today. I called them when I got in this afternoon and they haven't even looked at it.

There shouldn't have been any problem and I didn't know until 5pm. I spoke to S to see if he would be OK postponing it. I asked him to speak to J and you asap.

I won't even bother to respond to your other question.

Pretty restrained, so she'll feel she won. Takes me back four years. It's only going to be tougher on the boys if I pi55 her off... There are so many nice women around, how come I picked such a moo?
