I think you've got a point about the ex, just got a little worried in case Mikes boys ever read the thread!

What is it with Ex's tho? Disappointed enough without putting the boot in & trying to make him him feel any worse. If it has ruined her plans then I hope he can at least get a little bit of silent satisfaction out of that!

Just caught up reading all the pages since my last visit. Sounds like you all had a blast last night, sorry I missed it!

The bad news from yesterday is I sort of broke my computer. It's been running slow and freezing up on me so I decided to clean it. (Don't try this at home) I took the side off and stuck the vaccuum in there being very careful not to hit too much too hard. The fans were all gunked up so cleaned them, had to take one out to do that then noticed the heat sink thing was all fluffed up too so defluffed that too. Stuck everything back together again and tried to boot my pc. It would appear the vaccuum had sucked all my programmes of my hard drives - Gosh! that must be one hell of a sucker I got there!

After a couple of hours of trying to reboot with no drives and trying to figure out what a bois set up thingy is (I still have no idea), I was almost resigned to the fact that I'd have to buy a new pc. So it was do or die. I put on a rubber glove and started poking things that looked like they could be poked (I had turned it off but not unplugged it). Rebooted. And hey presto! it worked! Yay!

Anyone need their pc cleaning?

The good news for today is that I found 300% more money on the street than the monthly interest credited to my ISA savings. Yay! 3p!

Don't worry Mike, I'll have that £150 for you soon! Oooh seem to have missed a few words out there, should read:

Mike, glad you got home ok from the dentists. Good news about the boiler! Bad ex - I guess it just reaffirms to you exactly why she's your ex! A point to consider though, she isn't going to be doing herself any favours with your sons if her attitude to you shows to them! I'm sure they understand and her intollerance will speak volumes to them (if not now then in the future when they properly understand all the intricacies of relationships). Mike, it's her problem not yours, please don't accept ownership of it.

Welcome to all the new posters over the last couple of nights (especially Jonni - thank you so much for helping our Mike).

Thank you all for giving me such an entertaining evening of reading, I've really laughed out loud on occasions and almost spat coffee out a few times!

I hope you all have a better day tomorrow.

Mike, keep your chin up mate, we're all routing for you as you know. You have such a wicked sense of humour.

Anyway, I must get off now, so hopefully my pc will stop freezing and I'll be able to get some stuff done.

Thanks for the telepathic message Mike I did get it :rotfl:am a bit concerned for the swedish guy living in ur dashboard tho! i have perfected the art of hill parking my car so confuse the 'miles to empty' light - unfortuantly this meant I had to once ring my scary Ex husband to rescue me so I wouldn't necessarily reccomend it!

Glad ur mouth is fixed tho hope u didn't mention ur addiciton to evaporated milk to the dentist tho!!:) I'm sooooooo terrified of the dentist I would travel probably a million miles if i found one that i could trust!

Sorry ur Ex heaped a bit more guilt fix on you when ur feeling lousy enough already about not having the boys over its enough for u to have do deal with ur own stuff without having to feel guilty on some1 elses behalf:( - did you reply yet? You probably already have but if not......i'd suggest keeping it simple and dare I say it civil! (prob get a heap of abuse for saying that) I have found tho that if I determindly keep friendly and civil there comes a point where being had a go at becomes impossible!
