I have two confessions to make...

1. I have picked up my first private client
2. I have found a tradesman - who actually phoned me back and turned up and gave me a quote and is coming to do the work next week!!!

Oh and SouthernBelle - I loooovvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeee Marmite!

Evening all!!

It's been a couple of days, and it took me AGES to catch up, what with all the skirt hitching, poetry corner (which I loved btw "Dodge-ee builder" - Genius), match making builders, and broken boilers (SB - hope you get it fixed). Oh, and not forgetting, most importantly, lashings of evaporated milk!!

I have been reading, and this is the first time I've been able to post. Good to see everyones enjoying themselves while I'm slaving away in work!

Mike - Are you still on friendly terms with the ex, or is that meant to be taken as rude as it sounds??

Hope everyone's doing well, and on a bright note, I got some great news today!!

speirso, welcome back!:) My boiler was condemned! Had to buy a new 1 before it killed us all! Mike has to whisper sweet nothings to his to get it to work but thankfully....Its still under warranty! (lucky it broke down so soon then!??)

Hey hey. Glad you got it sorted and will be sticking around for a bit longer SB. Haha. Excuse the crap layout, i'm using my mobile cos i'm in bed.
Well, i had the most awful morning. Had the docs to get my monthly checkup (ongoing illness). Everythings fine for now. Then went in to work and things went from bad to worse. I was so angry, got a pure bollocking from my MD, then he offered me a promotion and a payrise. I totally accepted. I'm so chuffed.

Ref Mikes ex - I have an axe that could be strategically left in her head some time? Silly girl just playing games. Probably !!!!ed off because she can't go to her boyfriends this weekend.

Im pretty chuffed I don't have a boiler after listening to all your troubles. I must admit when I rented I had an oil boiler that kept breaking down whenever there was snow on the ground. After 3 years of the same thing (and I would often go away and come home to a freezing house) I broke down sobbing on the phone to my landlord - that August a new boiler appeared! I guess I pushed him over the edge!

Way to go with that promotion and a pay rise speirsro! Chocolate hob nobs and vodka are on you! :rotfl:

Hi Mike - sorry not been on since this morning. Pleased to hear you get free dental treatment that is a real bonus, but sorry that the ex is being evil. You will make it up to your boys in the not too distant future. Easter hols coming up soon maybe they could stay with you longer than just the weekend. Chin up you had such a wonderful week this one was bound to be a little flat. Anyway Friday tomorrow and hoping for a better day than today - didn't leave the office until 9.00p.m. and winding down before going off to bed. Take care Billie xx:):)
