58 miles away! thats bloody ridiculous for a start !!!!!!!g poxy NHS dentists grrrrrrrrrrrrrr hope u find shortcut/manage to freewheel etc or at least get reasonably close to home before u run out! hell shall worry now and won't be checking back in til late tonight!
any news on the job? or u may have to flog the carnation and that would a horrific state of affairs!!!!! xx
Sending you telepathic message.. I got back. I don't know how. Those digits just kept going down on the 'miles to petrol station' gauge. And lights were coming on that I've never seen before. One seemed to be a little Swedish person running around with his arms in the air, screaming.
The dentist's such a good chap we have stayed with him for 15 years. I get free dental and one of the kids still does. He puts anaesthetic cream on before the anaesthetic cream, then the injection. And he gives stickers for bravery. I now have three brand new crowns (and a sticker) and I'm going to go out in the street shortly and smile at someone, just because... Also he's near my Mum and if I was any sort of a son I'd have dropped in and said hello. But I saw her on Sunday as you know, and I wrote to her today warning her that things might be heard on the telly programme that she was hitherto oblivious to.
I'm working on the design job between now and Monday. It's great to use that part of the brain again... It all comes flooding back.
Thorry if thith came out lithpy, but my faith ith thtill numb.
(Bit of thympathy over here?)

Yay - you made it back :j ! Hope the dentist wasn't tooo painful or expensive. My Oh went to the dentist today after not having been for 2 years :j- he's managed to change from private to NHS so it's only going to cost 200 pounds
on top of the estate agent fees for moving
, finding the new deposit etc, etc . Grrr.

Half expected the lithp, was worried you'd have blisters the size of bunions from a long walk home...glad you made it back ok!
Lucky news with the boiler, hope they don't take too long to call & do the repairs.
Not very old then (boiler!), Shouldn't be playing up already?
Can't wait to hear the news (when safe) about the builder & chances of sale of his house so you get the money back!
Have to chat with Buffy when that day comes, I've seen smilies doing a mexican wave in celebration!
Glad the brains getting some exercise on work & it must feel great to have your mind occupied with something other than builder, letters & appeals! must have felt like a holiday!!
P.S ....you have my thympathies....don't milk it...(don't mention the carnation! urgh!...marmite effect)PROUD MEMBER OF

Just phoned my mortgage co to see what's happening with the refund I'm depending on and which would pay for petrol and food for the boys to come this weekend, having postponed it from last weekend. And they say they haven't even processed it.
So made a really hard phone call to youngest and I could hear he is disappointed - this was going to be the boat out/Chinese buffet weekend. They deserved it. I miss them. They miss me!
I know there are worse things in the world, and nobody was killed and no animals were injured, but it's a pi55er. I know some people have this all the time. I guess if I hadn't posted the request I could blame myself, but it's the attitude of banks I can't stand. These people whose bosses took a gamble and lost, but don't suffer like all the millions of people around the world who lost jobs and cars and holidays and houses did. And have they changed a single thing? Have they learned from it? Are they the slightest bit sorry?
A test of my positive mental attitude!
It's OK, I needed to let some anger out and you were the nearest!
Later, peeps! I hope there's been some good news amongst us today? Let's hear it!

Does feel good. Like stretching a muscle I haven't used for months.
But enough about my love life...

Oh love what a letdown!
Talking about your disappointment with your boys...Ouch..
(not your lovelife!)
I was worried earlier in the week that would happen....Nothing is ever straightforward as it should be, especially where banks are concerned.PROUD MEMBER OF

Filled the dogs' bowl right up with their favourite fattening treats and told them they're going to a barbecue at the weekend. They're really excited.
Mean, aren't I?
