Please don't even joke about it, Mike! I already have 2 cats and when I looked in the understairs cupboard earlier, a load of carrier bags fell out.

There is only the hat left now!

    Yours,

    Worrried of Hampshire

Haven't you got a plastic thing you screw to the wall and keep your carrier bags in it, removing just one at a time through the base. You should have been sent one with your winter fuel payment or bus pass.

Spent most of the afternoon/evening dipping into this thread. I started feeling horrified and so sorry for Mike (or should I say Lisa!!) but this soon changed to admiring him for not giving up and fighting all the way, and then to giggles as I got to the funny bits, and thinking what an educated person Mike is, and what a great sense of humour him and the others on this thread share. It's so nice to find such a supportive bunch of people in this world today!

Best wishes to all of you for your futures, and I hope you won't mind me dipping into this thread from time to time to keep up with developments (as someone else said its got all the elements of a soap, sadness, despair, humour, serious bits - don't want to miss an episode!)

You are welcome to our playground for the poor and huddled masses. And what a great message. You are definitely coming to the 'end of this sorry saga' beach barbecue.

P.S. There'll probably be some women there, so could you bring some salady things?

Not yet maybe, but close your eyes, open your wardrobe doors and step back and open your eyes.

What's the predominant colour? Does it rhyme with 'rage'?

    Or 'burple'?

How cynical! Are you saying that he doesn't just have a genuine desire to make those unconfident ladies look lovely? Say it isn't so!
