  • I put the order for mine in with the 30PM CPW deal, I called customer service today (who don’t really know too much about it) and told me it still says on the system that they will get getting the phones in this week from HTC (i.e today)
He didn’t know anything about the 22nd launch for New T-Mobile Customers or the 26th Launch for t-Mobile upgrades.

Fingers crossed it will be dispatched today / Monday for Monday / Tuesday delivery.

He also said regardless of T-Mobiles release date they ship the phone whenever they receive them from the manufactures and it’s often before the networks release the phones.

So if you’re as impatient as I am buy from CPW J

CPW don't seem to be currently showing any deals for the Legend, only the Desire. Where did you order your SIM free one from, and how much was it? Did they give you a delivery date?

  • I'm not interested in getting a phone for 24 months, hopefully t-mobile have a decent contract around £35 for 18 months.

I wouldn't be so sure. The big difference between iphone and HTC is that HTC give concessions to networks where as Apple dont with the iphone (Was told this by Orange directly) so there is more leeway with Tariffs and handset costs on a non iphone mobile. Im currently out of contract (have been since Dec) with Orange and also waiting for the Desire. I fully expect to be able to get the Desire on an 18 month contact for around £30 per month with either a free handset or a minimal cost for the handset - you just have to know how to play the operator properly
Comp wins 2010 (Feb onwards) - loads of books, CD, Toys, Photographic lighting rig, Mobile phone, 16GB ipod Nano, Digital camera

    Comp wins 09 - £4500, 08 - £345.70!

You will be able to get an 18 month contract for £30/month with a Free phone and UL internet. Probably Vodafone and T-Mobile.

I can see some of these 30ppm deals from third party (mobilephonesdirect and mobiles.co.uk) but will T-Mobile match these? I mean, I thought historically these third mobile companies always give cheaper deals?
