I was given a bag of dried mango pieces by a colleague. I'm thinking of using it to flavour some porridge :)

I got a large raspberry bush behind my cave which is producing like the clappers. Anyone know a good recipe for raspberry muffins?

Can't believe Tesco sell them for £4 per pound, and I've got them growing in my garden.

Not entirely frugal, but I got 2 necklaces at a medieval festival at the weekend - 2 beautiful uniquely crafted glass necklaces for myself. Because I bought 2 and was chatting away to stall holder (who is the craftsman), he threw in a pair of earrings for free (and I choose a nice pair that I'd like but that would also suit a sister for a Christmas present).

And I was in the fabric shop last week, where they had just marked down the fabrics again in the sale - so I got most of them for 50% off and some at 66% and 75% off. I bought 16 metres :) so I will be making Christmas PJs for the toddler, a bunch of aprons, some quilts, a duvet cover and pillowcase set, and a whole load of little Christmas presents (crayon rolls, makeup brush rolls and little purses to match, tissue pouches for the car, placemats and potholders, tree ornaments) - everyone is going to be getting sewn stuff this year!! LOL!!

Mine today was pretty good - I had to send a parcel, and used a big envelope from my stash - I was given a huge batch of them years ago when the office I worked in stopped using them and changed to different ones (bureaucracy gone mad- so wasteful) and brown tape that I had put on my own roll to re-use when I received a parcel the other month that was all plastic and lots of brown tape! Also remembered to use the stamps I'd already bought!

Got loads of fruit and veg hugely reduced in Asda - 9 big strawberries for 10p, probably the best bargain!
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

Some lovely sweet cherries from a tree in the park. Also found a hazel tree so hope to get some hazel nuts later in the year if the squirrels don't get there first!
Here dead we lie because we did not choose

DD1 was mortified when I used the T's bag I took for poop scoop to bring it home and make plant food. A friend told me to put it in a bucket of water and then ladel out into a watering can add more water and use to feed the veg etc. Can t hurt to try.
