Been quiet recently as I've been in (hurt my foot). But I gave my mum a small bin that will fit in her porch so she can keep her recycling in it before it goes out. Also gave her a tin of cherries I won't be eating and a packet of moist wipes. Mum gave me an iron (our is so old it barely works - not that I iron more than once a year anyway)!A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0

One charity shop was open on a Sunday - the Heart Foundation, I think they call themselves. Went through the bookshelves, and there is a copy of "Prince of Princes: the Life of Potemkin," by Montefiore. Potemkin [Impress your friends by pronouncing Potemkin "Patiomkin".] was a statesman who was the right hand man of Catherine the Great. He is the Potemkin of the Potemkin village, and the Battleship Potemkin was named after him. He is also the character Patiomkin in George Bernard Shaw's play Great Catherine. I have been after this book for a long time. It is a big book with a BIG price; so I was delighted to find it at £2.75. It is in pristine condition, so, when I have finished reading it, it can go on ebay or I can give it as a Christmas present.0

The British Heart foundation shops always seem to be the best for books. Lots of stock and well organised. Normally very reasonably priced too.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0
