    I've been Money Tipped!
Went to the Church fete (well actually I was helping on the book stall) and got an old large saucepan (perfect for candle making) for 50p, dh found a brand new set of bose headphones for £2 and I found a "bag in a purse" for 50p i had been looking at these very ones in a local shop priced at £5 and couldn't justify the cost but now I can!:)

Today we did a car boot sale and at the end there was a couple of boxes of stuff that people had left behind to chuck away  so I had a look through and found a gorgeous Indian style glass candle holder with gold trim, it's lovely and can't believe it was going in the skip, there was tons of people just chucking stuff in

I had a free tea last night. beef Cannelloni which I found in a trolley outside Tesco. Someone had obviously left it behind. I can't believe they didn't see it. I wouldn't of paid for it, but wasn't bad for free.

I found a growbag that I hadn't used from a year or so ago and have spread it over a garden border to help it along. When I bring home the little tomato plant I have just bought (and left at work, whoops!) I'll put it down there as it is nice and sunny :)

:eek:On saturday one of the dogs ate a big whole in the middle of our mattress:mad: OH was telling one of his mates who delivers beds and collects the old ones for recycling and asked him to keep an eye out for a half decent mattress to tide us over. Said friend turned up today with not only a more than respectable mattress but the four drawer divan base to go with it :j all very clean only been used a few times as a guest bed, definitely a better day than saturday.

Went to a family BBQ at the weekend as well as being very well fed (and watered) while we were there we also came home with lots of lovely leftovers! Sweet chili pork chop, Cajun chicken kebabs, tikka chicken breasts, quiche, new potatoes, pasta salad, Mexican rice, baguette, prawn crackers, grapes and choccy cake!
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.
