Boys at work donated three soft apples and two slight manky plums to my blackbirds. They've now got in the habit of giving me any fruit they don't want at the end of the week. Birds will have a fruity feast in the morning :j

I got three balls of speciallity wool (very nubbly and soft) for 10pence each in cancer research shop, and this afternoon knitted a scarf. would have cost at least £1.99 in shop and cost me thirty pence!! and a couple of hours knitting!
its soft and pretty and i am so pleased with it!

Lovely carmy generosity, what goes out with lurve comes back with lurve:D
Tonight I watched dreadful example of nasty behaviour.
Chap on seeing that there were lines of peeps at the check out went on a rant to the said person in charge there. I, for a brief moment, understood his anger, until he charged forth, barging and almost knocking over fellow shoppers slammed ( And I do mean slammed ) his basket down on the check out, growling and I swear foaming at the mouth storming out of the store.
How do these lovely peeps hold their anger working on a Friday night behind the f%cking till for who knows what wages!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh hey ho, Grebes every Friday night foray into mental Friday night supermarket shopping shows her that the bliddy world is shoutycrackers.
Except here where we are all lurvely:D

Grebe i know , its awful the amount i used to get in the takeaway was appalling. All of that for less than minimum wage. some people are just awful :(

Hi everyone, what lovely things people have giving, its nice to hear that as well as the receiving of course :)

I gave away two chairs, a gorgeous table, bedding and clothes over the past couple of days.Seriously needed the space, just about to put a tv on freegle as we were gifted another. someone give me lateral thigh trainer so as soon as this flipping cough clears off i will be using it.

Then yesterday night went and picked an electric oven, gas hob and extractor fan last night:D, so will be cleaning that up today as well. Good old freecycle :money:.

So very chuffed now,my friends (now neighbours) think i bribe them on freecycle so i get first picks. But like i said to her, i'm just polite, say i'm able to collect at a certain time and that's it. If i get it, i get it if not so be it.
Just finishing y cuppa then going to start sorting the oven out :).
  • Oh I'm so so chuffed, I've wanted the Delia 8 book box set for ages and am always borrowing the individual books from the library, and a lovely lady from Freecycle has just offered me the set! I'm picking them up on Monday, so excited. I'll bring her some home made goodies to say thanks.

Also I found in a charity shop a little cupboard with a glass door that was originally for keeping your hi-fi (the top lifts so you could get at the record player). It's a good size and has an adjustable shelf, so I snapped it up to keep my cookbooks in and free up some much needed kitchen space. I'm surprised how many I managed to pack in and it looks really nice and it was only a fiver!

    Good frugalling there :T

Daisy starch was reduced to 40p in the 'damaged' area in Mr T's today: 2 for me & 1 to share.

Found £1 and 2x1p on the road (in different places) on the way to get my prescription. Thank you to the [STRIKE]drunk[/STRIKE] excited students who live round here :o

I gave a £5 Boots No 7 voucher to my friend this morning. I know I won't use it so it was better than putting it in the bin. :D

Having given tins of paint to someone last week, I this week received an exercise machine care of a freecycler. So pleased. Used it already, it's fab. So it pays to give as well as receive. :A
