Make a bean chilli? It freezes really well. It can then also be used as a baked potato topping, toast topper, pizza topping (see the index!), even a spicy pie filling!!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

The Greek Gigantic Beans recpe is usually made with butter beans, but I think that it would work with broad beans as well

Looks like we are heavy on Greek dishes - just as well I have perfected my pitta bread recipes.
Will run some of these past the kids in the morning - liking the falafel idea though.

If you google Ful Medames, you'll find loads of Egyptian recipes;although officially, you're supposed to use fava beans, I've noticed a couple of recipes say you can substitute broad beans. Hugh Fernley Wossisname was making broad bean hummus the other night.

I think broad beans are fava beans? I'm looking for beany recipes as I bought several large tins from AF, very pleased with them all so far, freezing them in portions as I open the tins; I'm loving these greek ideas :T... don't throw the string away. You always need string!
