I think there's a risk of over-complicating things with fat loss. For the majority of people (those without a health condition or some bizarre genetic problem), weight loss (including fat loss) is really just about a calorie deficit. As long as you're using more calories than you're consuming, you will lose weight. As the weight loss goes on, your body becomes more efficient at holding on to bodyfat. In order to compensate for this, you need to exercise more (ie burn more calories), eat less (ie consume less calories), or ideally a mixture of both.
That's it. There's no quick fix, no magic pill, no special exercise.0 -
I didn't say there was a quick fix.
I'm advising her to carry on exericising and throw in some toning.Turn £100.00 into £1000.00

I will take you up on your offer too, I exercise 8-10 times a week for an hour each time, I do body pump/attack/circuits/conditioning and can't get my weight under 10 1/2 stone but I'm only 5ft 3. Is it true that muscle weighs more than fat or am I just kidding myself and need to eat less? I'm a 10 but want to be a 6-8.0

Muscle weighs significantly more than fat chick, why don't you measure yourself instead of weighing yourself?Turn £100.00 into £1000.00

How does muscle weigh more than fat? Why do people insist on saying such things when its one of the most stupid statements ever.
1lb of muscle has a smaller volume than 1lb of fat - but certainly doesn't weigh more.0
