I'm shocked at some of the things I am reading on this thread, some of you should be ashamed of yourself.
Imagine if this was your daughter, would you like her to be spoken to the way you have,

Sh, listen to Feelinggood, she knows what she is talking about.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.

I agree, I am shocked at some of the replies. Very scathing and counter productive. Especially the comment about 'do it length ways and deep' - appauling.

I do agree that the OP should be looking for help and keep trying and trying, if one method/course of action doesn't help, try another tack. Never give up - if you truely want to get better.

The sad fact is some people don't and there is nothing anyone can do about that, but that doesn't give anyone the right to be so spiteful to them.

Lotus and Feelinggood - I see where you are coming from trying to play the situation the right way just in case of "what if it's true", but the OP is clearly ignoring any of your advice.

That and other OP's posts around this site signal that the OP is not completely honest and suggest why all the negative comments against OP.

The problem is, that just because someone says the world "depression" doesn't mean they have it and it is difficult to prove it - you always find two camps.

The thing is - if it is not true by what you are doing you are only fueling the OP and there is this guy&his wife to consider. They must be going through hell. They must be seriously suffering by this and the OP needs to snap out of this.

If it is true, then posting on public forum is not going to solve anything (especially as the OP has patent on wisdom and makes enemies) and is going to fuel the depression and self harm.

The only way out of this now is to lock this thread.

Telling someone to sort it out, is way different to telling them to go and kill themselves.
I suspect those lovely people giving this "advice" would be slight hypocrites if it came to their daughter who was ill getting the same "advice" Nice people.

I'm giving advice similar to what helped me. I'm not giving empty sympathy, and I am challenging the OP, but in a gentle and caring way. I don't mind if the OP is real or not, I'm not losing anything by posting.

you need professional help. Posting on a public forum isn`t going to get you well.

I agree with the others you don`t even answer most the questions we ask you, its hard to understand and know what is going on and why tbh as we can only go by your OP.
