Hang on in there Red, the end of September is only 6 weeks away, just think only 6 weeks to a debt free business and no more hassle from your suppliers. Also didn't you say that you have paid out £650 that you budgeted to pay out at the end of the month? Surely that means that things will be easier then? So you only have to struggle on for two weeks.

Worst comes to the worst you can live on broken pies for a fortnight (how sick would you get if you really did that!)

You are just lovely Woo - I would have stopped replying after the first post! What would I do without the lovely chicks on here to keep me going.

PLAN: Tomorrow is a 'working from home day'. I will make one phone call to justify my employment and then I am going to Ebay like crazy. I WILL spend all day turbo listing and that should help with missed payments this month - I need to cover £250 and I have £40 already so if I sell 100 things at £2 I am done. Hopefully one or two more will get more than £2! I haven't used my 100 x 99p allowance up yet - maybe only listed 10 things at that price so I have alot of scope. I have also found that listing at 99p seems to attract more interest.

Thanks again Woo, you are a doll!

    Thank you Helen!

Yes it will be better come end of this month and even better in September - then just left with £3780 business debt which is long standing from suppliers we no longer use. However I have been paying them £140 a week since May and the debt will be gone come March 2011 (There is no necessity to pay more and there is no interest charged so it makes sense just to go slow and steady with that one)

It just pee's me off that I will get another charge from CC for late payment and that is so frustrating esp since they are already getting £600+ interest monthly, which is my reminder of how bloody stupid we were to get into this mess in the first place, an expensive lesson.

Re: eating pies for breakfast, dinner and lunch - trust me I have thought about it! :rotfl:

Agreed, settle down with a good book and try and distract yourself completely. You have a plan for tomorrow, you can't do any more tonight.

Well you could go out on the streets but I really don't think it would be a good idea.

It may be easier to focus on tiny bits instead of whooping great chunks and to learn not to fire all the money out the second it comes in - thats the lesson I need to learn I think, well one of the very many!

One good thing about no expenses is that I will see exactly how much my basic salary is as this is the first month in this job were I won't be getting travel expenses. Thankfully August has brought some mileage and by September it will be right back up there at 700ish miles a month, plus I have a 60 mile round trip to work (which of course, I can't claim) So having none this month will allow me to see what my basic budget is...........because come January I plan to pay Ricardo all my mileage allowance - another plan!

But for now I will focus on getting Ebay to pay the two cards I can't afford.

And I will really relook at business expenses and see how to best manage them on a monthly basis.

Where would I be without this site - I really really don't know, thank you so very much folks :)

I could but it would be pointless..............serious lack of punters as I live in the middle of nowhere...............not that I could guarentee they would be willing to pay!:p

Woah woah slow down my lovely friend and take a deep breath.I think this sort of stress went someway to my cancer.Stress will not change anything.

    Right done....

Let's look at what you've achieved....

You have paid £10k off business debt in 5 months and your business is still afloat and getting busier in a recession.
You have nearly paid all Business debt off and have a plan.

    On to personal debt

You have kept up with payments albeit late sometimes and with it a lot of interest.

The way I see it is though you don't like the amount of interest or late charges....do not worry as they will be coming down after september as you will have enough to pay the personal debt on time even if min payments so no late charges as you'll only have the normal business costs and the £140 p/w to other business debt.

Then come january you'll be able to put a serious dent into your personal debt.

No point in stressing yourself about the late payment this month as it won't chanmge anything....

Remember you are still doing fantastically xx

(((((((((((((((((((((((Taxi)))))))))))))))))))) always the voice of reason!

Of course you are right in every single word you say - sometimes its hard to see the wood for the trees, as it were.

The charge for late payment is there and, as you say, not a damn thing I can do about it except suck it up. I just hate paying them one more penny than they 'deserve'.

Yes, again, September will see an end to this saga of business debt and come March I will be £140 a month better off and I need to remember that

So the next time I get myself into a state.........remind me of what I just said

I cannot tell you how much you and all the other lovelies on here help me thru my "wobbles"

Please just accept the charge and interest as normal for this month...acceptance is good and calming.

After september ..you'll be ok and perhaps then post us a list of debts with APRS and we'll see where we go from there. We will get through it.

Glad you seem a bit more positive as positive is good for the soul x
