For the first time since I started this diary I am crying and typing!
I just can't get my head around it all, we have more money, we have not spent on cc and yet we are getting nowhere fast - and every bloody month I miss a payment somewhere and so start every bloody month paying what we should have paid last month (plus £12)!
Everyone else on here seems to have got into a good system and are even managing overpayments - not a chance for me and I don't know what I am doing wrong.
And all I can think is...............................................how bad does it have to get?
I have even considered DMP but yet know it will damage the business in the longer term.............................so really not an option

Posted before I seen your other post.
I'm sorry your having such a crap time of it. I know it doesn't feel any easier but when you have look at what you have cleared you really are making a difference.
I wish it was easier for you, you've been working so hard and keeping so many balls in the air.
I'm sure it will keep coming together little by little and you will be able to stop firefighting.
But I understand that right now it just sucks xLBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Thats just it - I am firefighting and no matter what I do, little flames are getting under the door and I cannot put them out!

You are definately entitled to feel sorry for yourself once in a while, you never really moan and just keep on plodding on, the stress of it all is bound to catch up with you eventually.
Your trying to manage the business and personal debt all by yourself, it's no wonder your fuc*ed off with it all.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Awh bless you Woo!
DH told me yesterday that he has no head for figures - wouldn't I love to be able to be in that position. He has done extremely well with the business and said that all he can do is try and sell more pies - which of course he has done. But he truely has no idea about where the money goes and what I have to do with it. That may very well be my fault as, in my usual control freak style, I was the one who said STOP in Feb when I had my LBM and from then I have become obsessed.
Today I went to Lidl with my last £20 and got enough food to see us through another few days (probably the end of the week really) and as I walked out with my purchases the !!! fell out of the bag, Mr Lidl gave me another one (which he didn't charge me for and God know how long I have had the last one for) and I rushed to the car and thought 'We are working so hard and I didn't have the money to buy another bag if he had charged me' and thus the tears started and haven't really stopped.LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

It only takes one little thing to send you over the edge sometimes when you have a million other little things whirling round your mind.
I'm sure it's frustrating that your OH doesn't have to deal with all the juggling that goes with debt busting and can just effectively wait to be told what to do, but you would be doubly stressed if you left it in his hands I think. I doubt you would sleep at night!
You should read your diary back and see how far you have come since day one, you've been an inspiration to so many others on here xLBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Yeah inspiring others not to do it like me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And yes, I know I would sleep less if I left it to DH to manage money.
I told him today we pay £600 in interest a month which just haunts me - and he said and one or two more £600 v your mental health, no contest - and of course he is right, but its just getting my head back to the right space and that could be done if we had one month of paying all we owe!
I knew August would be very tight because it was the final push on the business debt but I have pushed too hard and this is the result - will I ever learn!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

He is 100% right, your health is the most important thing, there's no point killing yourself to clear the debt as then you won't be around to appreciate all your efforts!
September is almost here and then you can look back at the week from hell, with the business debt cleared and another goal achieved.
