Oh what a lovely sleep!
I have realised that I spend most of my time at this laptop trying to juggle money!
I loathe this week in the month, we have so much going out and so little coming in. Many of our customers do their chq run on 20th and so next week is better. So I have been working out who I can pay earlier in the month to allow minimum outlay during this week.
Not one month has passed where I am not behind, which of course, has a negative impact on the beginning of each new month - gggggggggggrrrrrrrrr.
I know you all say it does get easier but I wish easier would come sooner!
Oh and we have no gas (still) for cooker top. Oven is electric. But we haven't starved!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

Sometimes it feels like the end will never be in sight, I can't wait to get under the £10k mark and then I realise I will still owe TEN GRAND!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

I just don't know how to break the cycle of not covering what we owe each month.
I have cut everything back to the bone (not reached my £100 shopping budget challenge yet) The business is doing well, sales are up 80% on last year but then there has been an increase in expenses (as you would expect).
DH said last night 'I feel like I am living on the dole' - which is true. We have so little money, thus why no gas - God Almighty it is £25 for a cyclinder and we can't get one.
I need to manage better - I need to get bills paid earlier so that we are not like this - I need, yet again, to relook at funds!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

Should also say that we have £3000 outstanding from shops, which of course will come in end of month, and keep us 'safe' for another while.
It is just this week (20th of each month) that it goes pear shaped! Again I think I am paying too much too soon to business debt - need to think outside the box.
You know how it is, money comes in and you are paying all of it out ASAP because all you want is figures to come downLBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

What you need is for someone to give you a months free money as a little bonus and then you wouldn't have to play catch up. If only!
I totally see you DH's point that it feels like your on the dole despite working your backsides off, it's not fairLBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Oh a months free money, how good would that be..............instead always paying catch up!
Plus this month no travel expenses, because I was off most of July and so didn't clock up any extra miles - thats about £200 for me!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.
