call chief execs office. They will have a complaints team who will be able to push offer through as long as all outstanding info has been received. Can;t remember offhand who the CEO of RBS is but do a google...

Ok, my broker called me back earlier today.

They've received my g/f's income reference, which is fine.

They're now saying they want an original bank statement dated within the last 3 months (they have already had online bank print outs) which I don't think we have.

I'm soooo annoyed. They're had numerous proof's of address, but still want more. It take's the p*ss.

Right, your broker is at fault for sending an incomplete case then. Call RBS yourself, you are the customer after all and have the right to speak to them. Confirm that the only piece of info outstanding is the original certified bank statement and check what their offer SLA now is. Stress to them the completion date. Good luck - call them at 9, don't hang around!

Offer received around the 11th September, it is for the amount that we need but it is the wrong product, my broker advised RBS of this the same day (it was actually their error, not his).

It's looking good as the offer was for the correct amount, so I'm not as worried as I have been, but alas...the wait continues....

I text'd my broker today to chase him, he replied back saying that he'd already chased the lender and that they would be sending out the correct offer today.

    Here's hoping.

My solicitor has also informed me that the developers want to exchange as soon as we've signed with a nil deposit, and complete on the 29th.

Looks like we're entering the home straight....the final furlong is in sight.....

Morning ukmonkey, I hope you get this sorted soon. I haven't been on here for a while what with holidays etc & assumed you'd moved.

It will all be worth the stress in the end.

    Cheers Jorgan.

Apparently mine has been one of the quicker applications with this lender as of late. My broker has told me that he has got a meeting soon with the "account manager" from the lender as they are being far too slow.

On a seperate note, I've made an appointment with the site manager for the inspection, to take place at 1600hrs on Monday 25th September.

Is this where I download a snagging list and go through that with him or what?

The site manager will want to show you the workings of the house, if you see any issues raise them with him then.
