Lidl have a half price weekend, EVERY weekend, selected items, always some meat and veg. Just bought some mushrooms 59p for 350g. Beef mince, not lean , last weekend was £2 kg.
Often cheese at £2.35/£2.50 kg.
Sometimes UHT milk 1 litre .... 25pence.0 -
I know, and you have to be there early before it all goes! But what I mean was actual 'whoopsie' sticker reduced type stuff that is going out of date. They must have very good stock control. Not that I'm complaining as they are great value for money already.0

Lidl doesn't do much organic food so I rarely go there but in the past I have seen reduced price cheese and yogurts.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

What is the policy on Lidl and Aldi reduced stuff? Does anybody know?
Is it better to find a bargain in stores other than Lidl and Aldi?
As always cutting back not cutting out.
Very rare I visit Aldi these days as it's a difficult location to get to with the bus schedules (a 2 hour round trip to get somewhere I can buy a bottle of milk is bad enough specially when it is cold out) but when I have picked up reduced items there they have had 50% off stickers on them.
Lidl has 30% off stickers but if stuff dosn't sell with the 30% discount it is placed behind the tills & is free for whoever wants it.0 -
