Gnomes and Juliet is really good blindtoast, I can recommend that.

Watched tropic thunder last night, that can be passed on now, also watched second series of breaking bad so a box set to pass on as well.

I'll join but I haven't had time to count all my dvds but put it this way,
i have two huge boxes full & 5 dvds on my shelf since I don't have any room!

Join the club moonbeam, my DH buys them faster than we can watch them, at least I've now got him to give them away by passing on to friends or the charity shops if we aren't going to watch them again instead of buying more racks and filling the house.

my partner does the same and i'm bad for following him to buying a couple,
we buy from CEX where it's like, £2.00-20p but i could really save that money aha
we don't live together though so its not too bad i guess

Watched a couple recently that were one watchers so will be passed on
The great Gatsby and kinky boots, enjoyed kinky boots and think my mum will do she can have that, couldn't really get into gatsby, it was a wonderful spectacle of a film but it just didn't grab me.

..trying to reduce my DVD stock too by watching then and deciding if I would ever watch it again or not. TBH would be quicker to take them to car boot sale but now have reduced down to the ones I actually want to watch. Took two (large) full bags of DVDs to CS that I got given by friends - 'you might like it' and after reading the cover never fancied watching tem....somehow I always just put them back on the shelf..

Morning all
Managed to get through a few more recently
Stood 10 mins of Jurassic croc before deciding it was dire and not worth wasting 90 mins of my life on!
Watching a ufc box set at the mo I got Dh for Father's Day, it's been ok he wants to keep it but will lend to a friend who has similar tastes.
Watched war bride, that was ok, but a one watch so it's being passed on.

Actually made the decision to let the video collection go!!!!!! Dh has been hanging on to it alough we have most of them on DVD and no video player any more, over 800 videos bagged up and ready to dispose of, tip run planned for next weekend if there are no takers on freecycle.

Well done on that decision, Mrs M! I would search and check before tipping them though, there are now collectors for certain VHS movies :eek: !
I did it the other way round for now...got a new TV I can attach the old VHS player to easily . Amazon just increased their prices for dvd rentals on lovefilm so that is the hint from fate to deal with my collections
