Watched risen this morning it's the true story of a Welsh boxer from the 60s who had an accident at work and lost 3 fingers but continued with his boxing career. It was quite good.
Then Watched revolutionary road, really disappointed with that.
Last night we watched offender, really didn't like that.
3 going to the CS on our next visit.

Watched Kaljaki a true story, about some British troops caught up in an area of land mines. It was harrowing and very graphic. That was on Netflix, would recommend it if you watch those sort of films.

Has anyone seen Chariots if Fire? It's been filmed near where I live but I know nothing about sports movies, is it worth looking for?

Hi everyone, I'd like to join this challenge please, not sure how many dvds I've got but it's a lot, I'll count the one I watched last night as my first one, it was Purely Belter, about 2 lads trying to get the money together for a Newcastle United season ticket, I enjoyed it but then again I'm a geordie, Newcastles my team, & Shearer made a cameo.

As for Chariots of Fire Happygreen it was a huge box office award film back in the day, I'd watch it purely or that reason.
  • Watched The Brothers Grimm last night. Very odd film. Once I got my head around what was actually going on it was passable. Definitely one for the cs.

I've not seen Chariots of Fire but it's one I always think I should have seen

  • Not really DVDs so don't count but watched blackfish the documentary about killer whales kept in captivity at seaworld etc last night - what an eye opener!! I love orcas but never want to see them in captivity now.
Then watched cowspiracy which was another documentary about the meat industry and how it contributes more to global warming than transport. Really does make you think about what we a doing to the planet.
    Both on Netflix
Going to watch something a bit lighter today I think.

    Have a good day all
