Managed to watch Bridget Jones diary and Solomon Kane over the weekend, they are now going in the to be passed on bag, either to friends, my mum or the CS. Watched lake view terrace but DH wants to keep that one.

I watched 2 DVDs yesterday and still have 36 left to watch. no change in the number because they were both borrowed from my SIL. Maleficent and What we did on our Holiday. Both very good for different reasons. Today I'm having a sorting out afternoon so going to put on The Book Thief or Big Bang Theory I think to continue to make a dent in the pile. It's my 29th birthday next week and one of the things on my list to achieve before 30 is to watch all my DVDs - just to motivate myself to leave Netflix alone sometimes!

We are in the process of moving house - I have boxed our entire collection of DVDs and was shocked that we filled 5 archive boxes. Each box contains around 50-100 DVDs. So my pledge when we have moved is to watch at least one a week AND make a stay or go decision about whether it remains a part of our collection or whether it is released to go to bless another household! I'll certainly not have the storage to keep them all.

I am rewatching all the Harry Potter films at the moment and have discovered that I am watching some of them on dvd for the 1st time. I had to upwrap the 5th film and I think 6, 7 and 8 will be the same.

I am also watching series 6 of Castle which was a Christmas present - 2 episodes to go - brilliant series so far

Oh just realised its been so long since I've been on here that I didn't update from before!

I finished series 5 of Castle and have also been watching the Marvel films in order. I had watched most of these already but Iron Man 3 was a 1st watch and I still have Thor 2 and Captain America 2 to watch.

Watched another episode of Castle last night so I only have one more episode to watch and that's the whole series.

Watched a few films this week. Maleficent and Edge of tomorrow which were both really good (from Lovefilm), What we did on our holiday (v.good) and 50 shades of Grey (pretty awful) borrowed from the library, Hanna (good tho I wish there were more conclusions in it) borrowed from a friend and The Thief Lord (one I've owned for ages). I also watched the very beginning of Surfs Up and didn't like it so that can go too - that's 2 unwatched films to the CS when I next go!

Have had a major cull of Dhs DVD collection which has taken over the house! I went through all the shelves cupboards and crates the DVDs a in and unearthed over 150 duplicates!!!!! They are being given away and what friends and work colleagues don't want will go to the CS.
I think he now realis he has a buying problem at the boot! I've now made lists of all the films in the cupboards and in storage crates and stuck them inside the cupboard doors so he knows exactly what is where.
We are now making a concerted effort to work through some and the one watchers will be given away or put straight into the CS bag after watching.

So we start again
Last night watched Tower Heist with Ben stiller in, it was ok but won't watch again so into the giveaway box it went.
