I hope she's in the pub celebrating at least and not drowning any sorrows. I'm crossing everything hoping for an update before 5.30 tonight

Sssssorrrry everyone - was out all day and only managed to call court at 15:45 in the end (15 mins before they closed) - then couldn't get online as my client wouldn't have appreciated that!

Turns out she DID file, yesterday afternoon. Took 1 copy in so they told her she had to have 2 (one for us). She delivered the 2nd copy this morning which we should get soon.

So we will be facing her in court again.

I am worried that she obbiously considered it worth paying £65 to set judgement aside, and another £80 to present her case. Surely that's alot if she didn't think she'd win?

Don't let the mind games get to you. She is trying to intimidate you. She has got enough of your money that spending a little to get you to back down doesn't really matter. She wants you to give up and go away. Call her bluff and take it all the way to nailing her in the court room.

Keep it up - we're all with you all the way.

    Hi all,

We don't have a court date - when we get the papers she has submitted, I guess a court date may come with that. Or maybe we have to submit our papers first, then the court decides a court case.

Remember that when we submitted the original court papers against her, all we sent was literally the court form. We have never given the court our evidence for the case against her, so I shall find out from the court when we submit 'our side'.

Thanks for the support guys - the game goes on.

Meanwhile, we're looking through the property pages to find *another* property to rent...

did she file a counter claim? If not all she's had to pay is £65 to get the judgement set aside. Its probably worth spending that just to clear up her credit record (a ccj really does screw you).

good luck, I look forward to hearing what she's filed.
