  • Well, I could certainly bung a simple website together, if someone else can take care of the promotion. I'll need toget a few other tasks out of the way first!

Great idea Amber - just think of the headlines when ALL of us are thousand-aires next year !! Woohoo! The newspapers will be scrambling over themselves to get to us but we will all be in Barbados :) Our families will make a fortune selling their stories of how they helped us through the hard times etc :D

Better get my finger out then!

Hales, could you update my commitments for this week please?

  • I know people probably dont want to give away this information, but does anyone have any guideance on where to buy things to sell?
I have tried to resell from car boots and charity shops but dont seem very good at this. I have trawled ebay and it just seems full of people wanting to sell pallets which are ex catalogue and not tested (knowing my luck Id buy these and it would all be broken!) I have paid 99p for a list of websites which supposedly tell wesites to get things from but I suppose it wont be that much use really.
On a bit of a downer today as I dont seem to be getting anywhere!
    Any tips?
    Thanks

I've just had the most simple but brilliant idea.

None of us are in this alone. We're all helping each other. So let's set up a blog and/or website about the challenge. This should include links to each individual website, details about why we're doing the challenge, how we've joined together for support and sharing ideas etc ... strength in numbers! We need to get ourselves out there as much as possible, and there's a story in this, so let's get ourselves some free publicity! Anyone know how to get this into the press, and how to promote it?

Im new to this thread but think thats a great plan. I will help with anything I can, not sure where my skills lie or even if I have any! but will help all I can.
