    I've been Money Tipped!
I've just had the most simple but brilliant idea.

None of us are in this alone. We're all helping each other. So let's set up a blog and/or website about the challenge. This should include links to each individual website, details about why we're doing the challenge, how we've joined together for support and sharing ideas etc ... strength in numbers! We need to get ourselves out there as much as possible, and there's a story in this, so let's get ourselves some free publicity! Anyone know how to get this into the press, and how to promote it?

Not sure about promotion or anything, but let me know if you need any help - I'm sure I can be useful in some way.

Great idea, if you want to do a self hosted wordpress blog then I could supply hosting (at no charge obviously) and help with basic setup, we could all have logins to add posts etc.......

I think we should have a list of blogs that we have that have adsense in them then we can all go click happy!£!£!£!£!

Never, never do that on someone else's blog or website - Google tracks the ip address of the computers that the clicks are made from - it is seen as abuse and then the blog or website owner has their Adsense account shut down (through no fault of their own) - someone did it on mine once (still don't know who) and luckily Google were happy to give me a "warning" that was then - my son has since had the same problem - his account has been closed and they won't reconsider.
A serious problem if you want to maximise your income!

    amber - fantastic idea!!!!

hmmm in a bit of a pickle guys???
went for an interview last thurs, the lady who organised the interview said that they are letting people know quite quickly if the are sucessful or not, and there are no second interviews, also the training for the position start the beginning of march.
at the end of my interview (which i assumed went ok)... the interviewer said, notes from your interview will be now sent to a panel to decide, i dont make the decisions, you should be informed in about a week (A WEEK!!!???) and you may be called back for second interview? (conflicting the info from the lady in the recruitment dept)
however i still havent heard anything and its driving me crazy!!! no call, no email, no letter?
i checked on the website (several times per day!) at the status of my application and just says first interview.

my brother says i am being impatient, but the job sounds soo cool. i am sitting in work typing this feeling sooo low, i just want out of this place.

what do you guys think, honestly?

shall i give up on that place and carry on looking or keep fingers crossed????

genius!!! bloody brilliant..... I know nothing about blogs I'm afraid.... I'll have to pass over to someone else!!

Can you guys have a quick look at a survey I have set up..... I am going to send it to a couple of people I know at uni's and ask them to pass it round..... I just want to make sure it reads okay and I haven't missed anything obvious out!!

Wayne, have you used Turbo Lister before?? I list everything via TL as I find it easier than straight to ebay. You can set up a template listing which you can add all your own info eg postage times, marketing gumpf, etc and this is saved. Then you use the template to write your item descrition but keeping the generic stuff... if that makes sense.

If you are buying to sell on you MUST change your ebay account to business otherwise you are breaking ebay rules and they can (and have) kick you off for it. A lot of other business sellers take time to report private sellers that are really business..... also HMRC do look at ebay seller accounts... there are threads on MSE about people getting letters from HMRC asking to prove the items they were selling are personal and also sending them a tax bill based on what they have sold. It will be up to you to prove that the items were personal.

To make it easier I have several accounts, 2 business (selling different things that I feel do not mix), and one personal for my own tat....

Don't forget to register as SE with HMRC too...... if you haven;t already!!

oh, yes, almost forgot....... the survey!!!

    hopefully the link will work!!
