morrisons here sell the flower buckets but 8 for 99p i think.love the taste of fresh tatties and the carrots are totally different - you can taste the soil if that makes sense. spent many an october holiday tattie howking loved it when you threw the tatties into the bonfire and they were burnt black and you had to peel the charred (cremeated) inch thick skin off them
It was Morrisons we got ours from, freebie freebie though. Maybe they've cottoned on to it now! Ah yes, the tattie holidays when they really that. My kids didn't even know what I was talking about when I called them that, which I think is quite sad, but that's city life I guess. Peel the skin off the tatties? Nooo, we ate that!!
Hahaha, Amber you are naughty!! :rotfl:
Well done Save4ArainyDay :T

Wouldn't it be great if there were jobs that paid people to chat on forums, bounce ideas around off each other and give each other moral support!!!!
mylot pays you for posting on the forum/site but it takes ages to reach the payout & it's only in dollars :undecided"And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,Telling me about the sea..."0 -
This is a cool post, nice to see so many people actually taking part! I shall be, and I'll do my best to post progress like everyone else is.

Morning all,
A friend has just completed a spray tan course and has asked me to be her first guinea pig ... volunteer, to try out her new skills. I am extremely fair skinned and fake tan turns me orange, but this time might be different....
Also, if you need a bit of help around the house, don't forget the inflatable wife on the grabbits board. Only £2.95 (including P&P). Inflatable husband is slightly more at £3.45 :rotfl:.
Got a couple of mystery shops to do today too.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
Morning all. Sorry Toots, went to bed. (D'you know it's really weird me typing that as when I was little my bro called me Toots! Did it up till I was about 16 actually when I told him not to call me that!) If it's about your tortoiseshell, it's going up today come hell or high water. Was hoping for a bright day for photos and boot sale, but it's hissing down rain here.
DD is off to her saxophone day, and DH is going into work rather than come home and go back for her, but he'll take TOIL another time, so I have a blissfully empty house (well, apart from the cats and the hamsters).
Plans for today are :
[STRIKE]take pics of tortoiseshell/blue/purple pendants[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]take pics of some of the bamboo sets I've done[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]edit them and load onto Folksy (maybe a few onto Misi)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]pay staff online (they get upset with me if I don't - can't imagine why)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]play today's free bingo[/STRIKE]
then if I have time I'll do some more crocheting and stitching.
Saucy, do you mind me asking how much a webby with it's own shopping basket and payment facilities costs? Just thinking further down the line really. Since I like to do a little of a lot of different types of thing rather than all one thing, I'd like to have a bit more structure to the shop rather than just all lumped into one shop window like on Folksy. Then I could separate out the jewellery from the cards and anything else I pop in there.0 -
