Morning all!
Still feeling a bit more positive overall but AAAARG! Just been thinking about all the things I have to do in March and between what my dad will need, birthdays - 2 in next two weeks and a small boys 5th birthday to plan for during school Easter hols!), commiting to being a reading mentor at school for 1hour a week (thought it might help as research for my writing!) and all the school runs I can't see how I will be getting much done....and all I want to do is my writing, so much for having 2 hours a day
Frustrating and annoying. Grrrrrr!
2cats = hope your daughter enjoys her saxophone day. What grade is she?
I used to play a little but Clarinet is my instrument!! (At the moment it is in desperate need of a refurb and I really want to be able to play it again..... unfortunately it has lived in a garage for over 12months as we 'lost' it when we moved  somehow it ended up in a box it wasn't meant to be in. Hey only a £1500 instrument!:eek:Life is a work in progress0 -
Mimms - I had 10 items on ebay that finished on Thursday and not one sold
getting disheartened with it now
Skint - I think you should be banished to the Smelly Shoe cupboard for your 'other' post - afterall that was my punishment!:D:rotfl:Life is a work in progress0 -
Hi Nix, she is grade 4. Technically it's her third instrument, but she loves it - it's her light relief from violin and piano. She's excited as she's having a masterclass with James Rae (saxophone professor from the National Youth Orchestra) and then has to perform at the end, as well as doing the ensemble work that they are doing today.
I've started playing it too, and can just about limp through grade 1 pieces!!0 -
Morning!
OMG I'm up early and we have already taken stuff to the tip
Quite impressed with myself, due to a bodyshop glitch I got £39 of stuff for £12 delivered. All stuff I will use so that keeps me sorted for a while. :j
Off for some retail therapy (with Xmas vouchers) and food shopping! Using some of the money from the challenge cos we have no food, will replace it when my wages hit on Monday though.0 -
Morning.
Glad to hear you are surviving Nikki despite the mess up with your wages. and really impressed with you going to the tip already!
Nixi hugs - there will be a way to do your writing too.

Morning all
Hope you're all well!
Here's my plan for today:
An hour on my book project
Finish report for work
Plan work diary for week to save time
Wash clothes – plan outfits for week
Put pics on laptop
Sort bits for boot sale
Cook mega roast
Cook dishes for week
Once that lot's done i'll hopefully be able to get on to some money making! I'm aiming to get my total up to £1500 by end of March, which is way off track but my money's going to come from Easter onwards. I hope! I'm looking forward to us all being able to congratulate each other in Nov/Dec when we've all reached our goalsKeep up the hard work everyone x
Just £10,852.28p to go...

Chin up mimms and nix.
I've had terrible luck with ebay too for the past couple of weeks, but this week I've sold £150 worth so far with 30+ items finishing today. Same stuff so who knows what the difference is? Keep relisting it through gritted teeth!!0 -
Thanks Jo! I hope so!terrible isnt it nix, hopfully march will be a better month and that will give us a boost x
Fingers crossed Mimms, thanks Cat, will be relisting v soon!
2cats - how fantastic for your daughter. I remember having a masterclass one day and being chosen it was fantastic. Can I show off and say I got to Grade 8 (with distinction!)- a long time ago and it took alot of work to get there!! I wish I had a sax - really enjoyed my short time having a go.....a bit jealous!!!:D  Enjoy it - I really miss my playing. Waiting to see if my two show any interest in learning an instrument. I got a piano through freecycle and my son loves 'playing' and making up songs - so you never know! Songs only a parent can love at the moment!
