for those claiming ctc/wtc remember if you SE makes a loss you can deduct that from your PAYE income or if you have no PAYE income your partners income
Nikki it's quite common for new business to make nothing for 1st 3 years. If HMRC looked at them all they would literally do nothing else.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

sat here with support on good wrist, stupid thing decided to spasm n stiff tonight, i think its eased off now though, time for painkillers
changed 3 things on website earlier n have noticed a small change which i hope will carry on
had an idea brewing - start a new facebook account for my website, add my mailing list people as friends and also start a fan page up, set both of them so only i can start or post new things but people can reply ... good idea or not ? mailing list is about 4000 i think (dont know for sure cos really need to get it sorted out and update background stuff)
Funny you mentioning wrist, mine been very painful for days, even considering going to Dr to see if he thinks is arthritis cos runs in family, had felt like it throbbing inside between the bones if that makes sense, happens every few weeks and worse if cold and damp, from writst right up to shoulder, hurts to press it but also eases it a bit...very odd.
Also re facebook page, I had a page when I had my shop and lots of people I knew signed up to page, is good advertising and I used to put photos of things on there I was selling....news updates etc, only thing is when I closed my business I couldnt see how to remove the group off facebook so is still on there...embarassing as my shop was only open 6 months!!0 -

Oooh how does that work??..... cos my business made a few thousand loss in 6 months, think 2 or 3 cant remember off top of my head....does that mean we can deduct that off my partners income for that year as I wasn't working in a waged job? Well I was but only for a few months before I opened my shop so only earned £600 in that job. Do you just tell them that by phone or is there a place on the renewal form?0 -
group remove = change setting so group is "hidden" (no-one can find group in search results or people's group lists but members of the group can still see it)
delete group = have to remove all members manually or send email asking them to remove themselves, then you can delete group
defo get wrist looked at0 -

Its not always the case for tax credits unfortunately. One to many scammers ruins it for everyone.0 -
Just wanted to say a quick hello! Sadly, I can't keep up with this thread as much as I would like to. Just wanted to say Skint - your items look fabulous & Elly - if the pictures are near to you go for it as you don't have a lot to loose.
Not had chance to do all the Ebay mamouth listing I was hoping for today (but did manage 5 items so better than none!). Spent the day at the zoo and nearly pee'd laughing having a snowball fight with the kids!
You lot boost my motivation.........so plan to be more productive tomorrow. :A0 -
Hello all! I've not been on for a couple of days as been busy with family life, but trying to catch up the 40 or so pages I've missed! LOL
Massive well done to skint on £1000. Here's me cheering I've made my first £10. LOL Still it's all better than nothing.
The only constructive thing towards making cash I've done this week is speak to my personal IT dude (hubby's friend) who is going to help me locate all the scanned images of paintings I;ve done in the past, which are currently unreachable on a hard drive.
Hopefully I'll be able to use them towards my website.
Thankfully hubby is mostly well now (though we are waiting for a hospital app which might change that dramatically, but let's not worry ahead of time) and I am mostly so managed to get the kitchen cleaned for first time in 2 weeks.
Will also get some more things photographed for ebay this week, especially if there is sun
shine.
Dribbly love to all while I catch up.0
