  • Now he text me to say he was here, so I sent OH. Then he pranked me, which I thought was very unprofessional, so text him saying I was sending my OH out to get it. OH comes back saying he's not there, I phone up, he thinks I mean he will pick it up from the store (40 minutes away from me, which closes in 10 mins) and has driven off. They are sending him back...

This has been a nightmare pizza ordering. And now OH is moody cuz he's hungry.

  • It's here now, but yes I think I will be! It was supposed to save me the stress, lol.

I'm designing new notebooks now so I've calmed a little. Got a lot of supplies coming this week, I just hope they come fast!

I should also hear about the course I applied for...scary stuff!

Went to bed but just got up again cos my sinuses hurt so much lying down. Taken some paracetamol and will try again soon. Also had fancy dress ideas for EM running through my head which wasn't conducive to sleep. but didn't mention that bit to Dh when I got back out of bed!!!

sigh...268 miles later and 5 hour(ish) driving and back here again now. Got here just after 1am so not too bad. Now if my legs would stop feeling like they are still moving lol

Just catching up with the thread and also wanted to say that you all are so special and important to me. I dont feel like most of your are just internet aquaintences but real friends. I learn so much from each of you and really appreciate all the ideas, support etc so very much. Meeting Toots today was an amazing experience and one I would not have traded for the world.

Well, nearly 2am now and have to sleep, then up early to reaquaint myself with some more advanced features of excel for an interview on tuesday and then have a meeting at 3 for my own business. My poor kitty actually missed me and is wrapped up tight against my leg and sleeping already lol.

Nite nite all, love and hugs to all who want them xx

  • Glad to hear you are home safely, Munchki. Your kitty sounds cute :)

I'm not tired, but OH wants to be awake at 10am and go to the Bullring. Then I'll come back and hopefully have some news on the course (please good) and then I'll be on here and making things :)

I'm worrying about the course now, incase they don't want me. She said they did, but it's getting on a bit, and its a different woman deciding now as the original woman is on maternity leave. Gah, stressful!

I'm hoping my supplies turn up too, so I can create more stuff and carry on updating the new website. That's my weekly aims..write the letters I need to send, create more stock, and create the new website. And hopefully get accepted onto the course, but that is out of my hands!

Can see myself being awake for a while yet, the carnival is just kicking out the drunks, which is loud, and OH isn't tired...neither am I, really.

Yeah, sorry about the rant...I don't know what I'd have done without this thread and you guys today.

    Night everyone, sweet dreams x

Hope you've managed to get some sleep Saucy!

So am I the only one who's actually had dreams about posting on here? Or is anyone else finding that it's filtering through to their subconscious:rotfl:

Nixinixi, that's a decent amount of time to spend on your book, it sounds like you'll get lots done; and if not, apparently the trick is to make yourself write something, even if it's not related, for ten or so minutes; then you get back into the feel of it. Can you tell I've read a few 'how to write' books! You didn't say what age you were writing for? I thnk I assumed it was a picture book or similar (I have young children lol, I see a lot of picture books too!). The MBT thing has confused me now; I got mine from a shop and was told you sometimes needed a smaller size...I think...maybe I've just forgotten! Anyway if anyone from here wants them they can have a try around the house can't they :) I'm just a bit embarrassed that they were the most expensive thing I bought to sell on and they haven't sold...the lesson learned here is research before you buy and don't buy on impulse!!!

I have made a necklace from polymer clay beads, it is a bit pretty :) think I'll try to get more made and then set up my Folksy shop over the next couple of days from what I've got.
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
