Hi Purple Pixie-isnt it sad how most us are being derided for having a go at this instead of supported...still-we'll show 'em!!

I'm snowed in today so will have to do something constructive....um.....er......dunno what!

My web person has given me detailed instructions for the hard of understanding on how to put new products on my site so might have a go at that if I can get my head round it :-/

Have a good time Muncki-that job could be out there in a shop window waiting for you......
  • I think I am aiming a bit high with the beach house and disney trip lol
Its a lovely day here so I am going out with dog, then Im starting on the clothes mountain I dragged down from the loft which has now taken over the kitchen
    Im feeling quite motivated today

    Nope, aim high!

I think I'm aiming too high with the decent bloke!

Have just told my best friend (the only person I've told) that I'm doing this. He immediately came out with lots of good ideas, the best and most generically useful was "turn your passion into money" - what do you really love? Can you make money out of it? Even if that's just an expert knowledge to blog/write about?

He's good at ideas - as and when he comes out with others, I'll post any that might be useful!

I'll now go away, as the painkillers are most definitely making me dribble today...:o
    Stage one - declutter
Stage two - sell the clutter
Stage three - turn the money into more money
Stage four - pat self on back

ok, regarding the quillow requests I have had in pm lol. Firstly, thank you! I really never thought it would be viable over here so yes something I am seriously considering. A few issues to figure out how to overcome before I can consider doing it however. I have a brother machine that needs a new powerlead/footpedal thing again as mine has gone walkies, then of course need fabric (have stacks of xmas fabric lol) then of course have to find room to make them which in itself is a long story. I would love to do it, will just have to see how things pan out, just never thought I would get the response I have gotten so far!! Again, thank you to everyone!

  • Good morning....
Thanks Emma, I will have a look at that info.
I have been keeping up with this thread, but just haven't posted for a while but I am still here!

Munchki- could you use peppa pig duvet covers as the fabric for your quillow? I have seen them cheap somewhere... I will have a look if you want me to?

Update on my total.....I have sold loads on ebay but am waiting to get this months fee invoice from them until I can work out how much is profit. I have bought things to re-sell so need to calculate it all.

Saucy, I don't suppose you could do a pretty cash book could you? I have looked all over for one but can only find boring ones!

working on organic farm short term in exchange for food and accommodation. not all are farms often people with small holdings cottage gardens etc. some of the work very physical but often it can be help with veg garden etc. some allow pets. can be short stay for say 3-7 days or long stay of 4 weeks or more.
Some of them provide courses for the public and you can learn skills while you are there like alt therapies etc
You make an agreement with them about how many days/ week you will help out and then rest is your free time. Quite a few places in Scotland.
You can look at the preview list of places but to get complete details you have to join.
