    Morning all,

MMTWGR - Pm with what price you are looking for the the wii and I will get back to you later today.

Mabel - Still can't pm you?

Ouch, head hurts, to much rose me thinks.
In 12 months I would just like to be happier and more financially stable, with a wee deposit for a Disney Florida holiday for the kids. I would love to have a successful business, but will just wait and see what happens :)

Dunno what I am gonna do today yet just waiting for OH to return x

Put some pictures up of Disney world somewhere for motivation
You can make it a goal
I managed to take my older 2 when they were little and it was fantastic
Also america is so cheap you could buy stuff and make a profit lol
I would love to take my youngest so add that to my list
  • 12 months time...

To have done a few more overseas auditions
To be doing nothing to earn money other than singing, teaching, and anything else crafty that I choose (certainly no typing, or my hands may cease to work...)
To be fitter (if not lighter as well)
To have found a decent man who won't mess me around (chance would be a fine thing...)
    Stage one - declutter
Stage two - sell the clutter
Stage three - turn the money into more money
Stage four - pat self on back

    Morning folks.

munchki, if you look in on this today, what sort of fabric do you need for your quillows? I have about a metre of the heavy cotton camo and about a metre of fleece which is a blue (large) check with teddies on. They are definitely going begging. I also have some red jersey material but I'm guessing that would be too stretchy. I don't mind sourcing and paying for the Peppa materials myself, if the mark up from the two Peppas combined would be enough for you to get your sewing machine cable thingy. I may have a go at doing a felt Peppa today so it could be appliqued on. (I'm not going to give up nagging you about this, so I'll leave the others to nag you about Dundee LOL.)

ETA - actually, post what type of machine you have and what "bit" you need - is it the power cable? - and we can see if we can find one cheaper online for you.

My eyelets have come in the morning post, so today's job is finishing off a load of part-done pendants. The ink for Jane's custom ones was in the same pack, so I can have a play with those. (BTW, Jane, I needed some more ink colours anyway, so I figured I'd get the ones you wanted first). Then if I have time I'll do some cards with the offcuts. Maybe gift tags too? Do you think a gift + card + gift tag that all match would be a good idea?

Anyone know how to remove a cat's vocal cords? One has started yowling whenever she wants anything - not in pain or distressed, just making herself heard! She is currently behind 3 closed doors in the utility room and I can still hear her!

  • Morning all! Interesting to see other people's aspirations. In twelve months time I aim:
-to be working, having got the job about to be advertised at the place I volunteer
    -no outstanding credit card balances
    -a stone lighter
-to finally have my home "company ready" most of the time - I'm shockingly untidy!

I've listed more junk (or should that be quality merchandise?) on Ebay, concentrating on the more expensive stuff rather than 99p starts to make the most of free listing, already have bids and watchers.

I'm going to a tabletop sale today, buying not selling. I can't decide whether to go early when there is the most on offer or wait until later when people may be more prepared to take lower offers to clear their stuff. Probably early.
Then it's off to check out the charity shops and a place I buy from most weeks and always sell on what I've bought for a profit.

I know I'm not a very prolific poster on the thread, but it's a real encouragement knowing I'm not the only one trying to do this. I haven't really told anyone except my husband and sons what I'm doing because I know I'd get a load of teasing and criticism, but I believe I can do this. Even if I don't reach the 10,000 I'll have proved to myself that I can take a small level of control in my life.
  • I think I am aiming a bit high with the beach house and disney trip lol
Its a lovely day here so I am going out with dog, then Im starting on the clothes mountain I dragged down from the loft which has now taken over the kitchen
    Im feeling quite motivated today

What would I like to be doing in the future.....

    Immediate future....living in scotland
Find a job that I enjoy eventually, but any job to start with
    Eventually builidng my own business
Either claiming bankruptcy (thanks to ex OH) or figureing out how to pay everyone over a long time.

I just want to be properly happy again, living a simple life, doi ng and helping others in a personal way as I am the type that NEEDS to help and give something back!

Well about to go and get dressed and go into dundee, so going to have a look around some of the shops and perhaps a few agency windows etc while over there. Then back home to watch the latest errrrrr downloaded film and oggle at more beads!

If any of you dundee lot see me, hehe come up and say hi!
I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour
