  • I'm still wide awake. I've kept OH awake too, and now I feel bad because he has to be up at 10am, but I didn't know that til just now.

Have been playing with my printer and things. Generally just doing stuff! Lol. I'm determined to make this business a success. I just don't really know how...Maybe a business bank account would be a good idea? I don't think I'll be able to hold down a 9 to 5 with my conditions how they are, so my own business would be brilliant. I keep envisioning having my own paperchase, lol.

Don't suppose anyone is awake to babysit me?

Aww, that sucks. Did you explain? The people might still want the items...I've waited more then a week with no explanation before!

12 sales is good, though, at least you know how to list them again!

I'm so glad you are back. I can't sleep because my head is buzzing...it's keeping me wide awake and I know I won't be able to sleep while I'm like this. I think I'm nocturnal :rotfl:

  • I am one step away from power seller status - ebay told me I just had to keep it up for one more month.... now I had this ! So I have refunded all buyers and I will be sending items out so I will have to absorb the loss. i am sure I will still get negatives - I am just hoping I can turn them into neutrals so I can keep good stats. Or they dont leave feedback until after the powerseller status is decided ! Its a shame - I had 100% feedback with 5 stars for all topics. Thats gonna change !

Unfortunately its on my main business so it doesnt count for the challenge !

Is your head swimming with stationery ideas, or new ideas?

  • Oh, that really does suck.

It's both, really, but I'm trying to keep it to stationery so I can focus on that and try to be a success! I hate that the news is presuming everyone has just woken up...it's been the same identical news and weather since 2am. Its driving me nutty!

Will you get any sleep now? I'll probably sleep til early afternoon, haha.

  • nah, kids will be waking up soon so I have missed out on the sleep until tomorrow night !!

Glad you are focusing on one thing - you sound like me though with so many ideas and so little time to do it all - I want it all done immediately or I will burst !

ooh, the hoobs is on in 3 minutes !

Oh and Countdown is more rubbish at 5.30am than in the afternoon !

  • Hahaha I used to watch The Hoobs...My sleeping habits are dreadful. Makes me glad I have no kids right now...I used to love having the twins to keep me company during the night though, newborns are fun to play with and never know when night time is.

I have I want it now syndrome pretty badly...I think someone needs to burst my bubble over how successful this will actually be. I get a bit ahead of myself!

Anyway, I guess I should try to sleep...I'm in the middle of a four page complaint letter to the Primary Care Trust, which should probably be done at a different time!

I hope you have a good day out today, and remember to come back and tell us how it went. You are very motivating!

    Sweet dreams xx

I've just had an email asking me to donate socks to the homeless, and my first thought was that it's someone with a foot fetish trying to get freebies.

What has this thread done to my brain? :rotfl:

LOL Saucy! My son's primary school sent a request out for any type of footware just as the broke up for half term, and I wondered if they were trying a new way of raising funds!!!!!! :rotfl:

MMTWGR - fantastic to see you back!! and if you forget to go to bed because you have stuf to do, well I'd say you are pretty motivated!!!! Oh and if you sent me an ebay item after 12 days, explained that you had lost internet access and you refunded me to I'd leave you a positive for excellent customer service following circumstances beyond your control!!:j

    Hi Nixi
    Another early bird
I was planning a lie in but forgot to turn my alarm off
I was just having a look on ebay and wondering if anyone had sold kids clothes bundles and how much they sold for
I see they are selling but not for much but some of the photos are bad and on some the clothes look crumpled
When I sold them I took loads of photos ,loaded them onto photobucket then copied the urls and pasted them onto description so you could scroll down and see everything
I would also spend ages washing and ironing everything so they looked the best they could
I never got under £50 but most arent getting good price at the minute
Its a lot of work but worth it if it bumps the price up
ps Im not saying any of your clothes are crumpled
Just a few tips to help get good price the more photos the better
I think thats why it takes me so long to get going cos Its a lot to do
Another tip Try and photo things that go together eg 2 pair trousers with 4 tops so buyers can see they are getting outfits and good value
