ok, just a thought, but I am going wholesale, setting up a website and all the bits to go with it, its going to be an anything and everything site, (hopefully), for those of you that specialise, would you consider a secondary outlet? don't know how it will go, but if I had a jewellery section, would any of you be interested in putting your pieces up? I have already had a few ideas about how to get traffic. Wasn't just the jewellery I was thinking about including, it was everything.
Am I going to be getting in over my head? Hoping to have it up and running by end of March.turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -

Munchki - get down the charity shops and look for sheets, Barnardo's charge about £1.50 and RSPCA only wanted 75p. Cheap materials to start with, some are really good quality.

Saucy, another one here for a pretty cash book, if you could make one (and I can't find the link to your notebooks...want to see!).
I also have to keep a day book, or my life descends into chaos, so you'd have a pretty regular customer in me anyway!Stage one - declutter
Stage two - sell the clutter
Stage three - turn the money into more money
Stage four - pat self on back

Shell, I was just about to reply to you - it's not the wrong place for posting, we've already established that on THIS thread it's not just about the challenge, it's about providing support to each other on every level.
For what it's worth, although I try to be a believer in letting bygones be, I'm not sure that in your position I could. You're right, the kids are not to blame here, but if they've done without any contact for the last blah years, they're not going to know they're missing anything. Anyhoo, hope you figure out what you feel is best x

Think I might have hit on my big idea - don't want to say too much as it's quite a niche market (nothing dodgy though!), but I'm going to work on it for a while. I'm fine with the products, but I think I'll need a lot of help with the marketing, although I do have a few ideas.0

Toots - snap, was about to reply too!
Shell - Olive branch it may be, but don't think I would do it, either 1) too hurtful, 2) Publicly, no if it goes badly, really wouldn't want that in front of a bunch of kids or 3) really wouldn't have the balls to be so far out of my comfort zone with so many people their to watch me.
Just me though, I shy away from confrontation once the anger has gone xturn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
