Oooh, it's a bit nippy for streaking today, I may well consider it as a money maker when it's a bit warmer though, tar ;)

Thanks, I'll try and hunt it out online as I won't get a chance to nip to post office today.
What about listing? 3,5 or 7 day?
sorry if I'm asking too much.

Have done 3 listings on ebay today. Most of my stuff is aimed at the same market, so I don't list it all at once but spread it out a few weeks so that people have time to conveniently forget that they shouldn't be spending any more money!

A little piece of good news - DD got a letter today to say she is one of four people selected to do a masterclass with James Rae at a saxophone and clarinet day she is going to in a couple of weeks. She is very excited as James Rae is one of the top (if not the top) sax/clarinet teachers in the country. So she is going to have some tips from the top man on playing one of her grade 4 pieces (which he wrote, coincidentally!).

  • 2cats, that's fantastic news!

Already got two watchers on my DVDs (the two I thought woudln't go, too!), so quite excited.

Any crafters - Folksy, Etsy, or both? What would you recommend? I'm getting organised enough now to put in place a craft idea I first had a couple of years ago (hopefully)...
    Stage one - declutter
Stage two - sell the clutter
Stage three - turn the money into more money
Stage four - pat self on back

  • Oh Shell, it never rains but it pours. Sounds like OH's firm haven't treated him too well, they don't think about the results of messing someone about like that.

It's my 'other' website that I've finished (looking good, if I say so myself :D ...)

    A quick question
If clothes are 1950s -1960s are the vintage?

If they are !970s are they retro?
If they are 1980s - 1990s what are they (just junk lol :rotfl:)

    Good morning everyone

Well have been trolling job sites all morning, have widened the search to now include everywhere from Leeds to Nottingham for the most part as am happy to either move or commute if need be, realistically anyway. I have several more to send out at some point. And of course still looking up in Scotland!

just had a slight disagreement on the phone with an agency, I like how in less than 2 mins on the phone he knows all about me and what it is I am interested in or want!!! grumble

anyway, back to send out more, think I might hit the 800 mark today.

I so so wish I could find clients for my own business!! Cant remember who mentioned it about the Chamber of Commerce, but there lists are like gold dust, I do have one for just north of Manchester but so far not much joy. I need to redo my adverts on gumtree as well.

Oh gosh I am really starting to dribble here, apologies....

Hugs to those that want them!! xx
I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour
