Yummymummy - Yay for the Keys bet you are so happy :)

2cats1kid - Great news for your dd, thank you for the kind words.

Munchki - Thank you, means alot when I know you are having a very tough time yourself.

Thanks everyone :) I know I will cope but I am fed up of having to IYKWIM just having a pity party today lol He has telephoned JC and they will see him but he signed off on a scheme? got some money for new work clothes and basic tools and gets £50 a week (i didn't know that and it certainly hasn't hot the bank account yet but hey ho). So there are no guarantees but we will see. As for the meal we are gonna go, it is an all you can eat but 5 altogether still comes to £60 without drinks, 4 of us and we take my Gran as today is also my late granddads birthday (god I miss him too RIP popsy xx)

I think just for today I will have a day off from the challenge I just haven't got any heart in it even the designer t shirts I put on ebay are doing pants.

Shell, I got convinced to sign off and go on the self employed thing as well. I get 50 a week such as it may be. I had been on job seekers for 6 months and was just at the point of being able to retrain if needed and get employer incentives. Now I dont know what to do as I am having to pay out copious amounts in petrol alone attending interviews and not sure if I try and sign back on whether everything starts all over again or what. Was bad enough that I had to move over from the normal to the other version of job seekers and then would have to prove that although I am living with someone it is not that kind of relationship or get nothing.

I know how you and your OH must be feeling. I share those same feelings of fear, frustration and at times feel so inadequate.

If you don't have the camera, can you list it today to get the free listing and then add a pic later? Don't know if you can do that, but you can edit listings, so it might be worth a look.

    Good morning everyone

I so so wish I could find clients for my own business!! Cant remember who mentioned it about the Chamber of Commerce, but there lists are like gold dust, I do have one for just north of Manchester but so far not much joy. I need to redo my adverts on gumtree as well.
    xx

When I was made redundant a few years ago, my company paid for an outplacement service. Part of the service included access to their database of companies. It's a long shot, but if you know anyone using an outplacement service, then perhaps they could get a list of companies for you.

    Woohoo Yummy Mummy!!! Congratulations!

Cagne - I use Callys spreadsheet and doublecheck on the postage cost finder on the ebay listing form, just weigh your items and add a bit extra for packaging, cost it and then I add about 50p for packaging costs but rounding up to nearest £/50...eg if cost is £2.29 I'd say it was £3.00 postage. So far, only sold 9 items inlcuding childrens clothes, I haven't lost out on one I made an extra £1 and other was only 10p up, but not lost which is the main thing!

Shell - Aww hun, def think a phone call is needed and hope it can all be sorted quickly xxx grrr, why are tjhings never simple!!? Personally I would still go ahead with plans for the birthday.....or maybe slightly altered but you need something good too!

Munchki - I think it could be worth redoing you gumtree adverts!! Saw a job advert in our local paper today and thought of you.....it was for telemarketing for a car dealership contacting existing customers to arrange servcing, 20hours a week....and thought how you contacted a company and offered to do it for them self employed rather than inhouse.....can find details if you want to try it again!

Amber - well done on the website!! Did you take your own pic?? :T

The process starts again I think Munchki and I don't think we will get anything as his contribution based has run out now and I earn all be it not a great deal but I do, plus I am also registered as having a business and all that jazz.

I know things will be fine, I do, I'm just all over the place with regards to debt etc, my main fear is losing the house. Having lived in such financial uncertainty as a child I just don't wanna put my kids through that if I can help it. I am gonna use the challenge money, I have just ordered 6000 leaflets for OH gardening and just signed him up to myhammer to, a bit expensive but if you don't try you don't get, right. Now just need to wait for the printers to get back in touch and start delivering. If anyone has any others ideas of how I can get him 'Out there' so to speak I would be very grateful. x
