2cats - when you say small things, do you mean small places to test or small items? I know there was a craft fair in the new church in Fenstanton every few months, stall were only about a fiver, there was only 1, what I would class as pro, my mum did it a few times. Also in the hall thing (cant remember what its called) in the town centre, they do craft fairs every now and then. Have a nosey when the next one comes around. Build up your cofidence over the summer, then maybe go for the one it Ramsey in Sep. You jewellery is amazig, it deserves to be seen and worn!
Haha - just had a thought! Could save myself some postage and pick up what I want when I visit my mum in March!! Oh no, this is dangerous!

I mean small places to test the market. Some of the stuff at craft fairs is just soooo amazing, and then there's me with my cut up old CDs!!! ROFL. (I know they don't look like cut up old CDs any more, but ykwim!) I'll check out Fenstanton for sure, thanks. Do you mean Commemoration Hall in the town centre? Yes, it really is a confidence thing with me. In main job I know exactly what I'm doing and am pretty confident, but this is a whole new area for me and it will take me a little while, which is why I want to do small events and just get used to the whole idea.
DD has now decided this is a two-woman business - told you she was trying to muscle in!0 -

Haha she knows a good thing when she see it! IKWYM but they whole point of craft is to turn things into something beautiful and thts what you have done! Its not what it was, but what it is now.
Commemoration Hall thats the one! Lived opposite the bloody thing for a year and had a mind block!
Try phoning the local schools, most of them have a summer fete with crafts and things, Fenstanton (again, can you guess where I used to live!) had the 2 people do crafts every year, they got a stall in the hall and half the village turned up and they only did simple things like teddies and pencil toppers, (really nice tho). The school ones are more likely to be gentle on you, there was also Wheatfields in St Ives that does an amazing summer fete.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Good luck! x
ps, the Xmas school fetes were always my fave, so many hand made tree decs, I loved it, still do!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
