Right bunnies, are we ready to face a new day.
Tasks for all today are to brainstorm munchki's business to see if we can come up with anything.
Had a thought along the fliers in ebay packages line - I'm planning on doing a (small) craft fair in July. Would anyone else who is doing craft fairs want to swap a bit of stock so maybe I could sell some of Saucy's journals etc. I realise that there would be postage involved in getting it there and getting anything unsold back, but it might get names out there. Or even just a couple of samples and a load of business cards/leaflets. Actually, that might be a better idea. We could even have a schedule of who is doing what where, so that rather than it going from maker to person A, back to maker, out to person B, that we just send from one person to the other as the craft fairs come up? I'd be game for it - anyone else?
My jobs for today:
* more follow up calls (main)
[STRIKE]* send that blasted chq to baby show (outstanding from yesterday) (main)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]* reply to outstanding emails (main)[/STRIKE]
* see where I have spaces to get people off the waiting list (main)
* email all Tuesday clients about hall problems (main)
[STRIKE]* design card for mounting stuff nicely for sending out (small)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]* design business card for idea above (small)[/STRIKE]
* get bridesmaid shoes for DD (life)
* collect DD's violin from repair (life)0 -
Morning all! Thanks everyone for your help and advice yesterday, still tying to work out best way to do stuff but not as stressed about it all now. Thinkcosts of doing POA are extortionate through solicitor but I can do the forms my self and I will not have to pay as I earn les than £12k and can prove it! ...so a saving of £240!! Do I put that to my total??? Don't think so, but would be an instant total boost!! Bluecow will email you later if thats ok, had other family issues going on last night.....grrrrrr to in laws, normally fab but at mo adding to the stress!
Mummy - hope your LO's are feeling better....sounds like you need an early night for you tonight!?
Mabel - glad you deleted you addy, did see it when you first posted and remember thinking I hope she remembers to go back and delete.
Didn't get any beading done yesterday but thinking we will today - did get some reading done though which doubles up as research and my blog is not at £3.01 earnings???? Worried as think someone is just clicking away....hope it is all genuine. Fingers Crossed its genuine, if so not bad for my first 10 days of blogging!!!Life is a work in progress0 -
2cats - think that is a brill idea. I have nothing to offer up as not doing anything crafty (unless of course my kids are whizzs at making bead necklaces!!!). Maybe one sample of someones work and a few business cards/leaflets depending on what they have......
It comes back to the group website - ('Dribble and Do!'don't laugh, names and poems are not my forte!!!), a random selection of crafts/services/blogs!!

First idea for munchki today - have you tried the local Chamber of Commerce?
http://www.mycci.co.uk/
Might get you some leads with local small/medium businesses and can't hurt. Don't know if there is any charge to join. It's something I keep considering doing where I am and never get a round tuit. (Very rare things, those round tuits)0 -
Off topic, but
IT'S SNOWING!0 -
Morning All,
I completed one of my four items last night - I started blogging :-) It's a lot easier than I thought!!
Although not to make money (well, the MSE related one anyway) but to inform people of my progress (although any income on other blogs is not a bad thing!). Check out my blog if you wish - its on my profile. If anyone follows it, I will follow their blog if they let me know the address :-)
And Munchki - something will come up - it always does!0 -
LizD - jealous much!
Nixinixi - glad you are feeling more positive today! Doubt DDs will agree with me sleeping, but we can but try!
2cats - where are you? I see Cambridgeshire, but where? Craft fair sounds good, may come down, used to live in St Ives, and it still feels like home to me! What sort of parties is it you do?turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
Well done Lost Prophet!! I'll have a read later.
thanks Nixi-I'd forgotten all about the email addy-i've done that twice and remembered the second one!
Just been accepted for Adsense affiliates so will be getting my head round that today.0 -
Hi MummyandPaige, I'm in Huntingdon so just next door to St Ives. Craft thing is just a school fair in July as I want to test the water somewhere where I'm not in with a load of "pro" crafters and feeling out of place! One of my friends is on the PTG, so I've tapped her up for a space! If it goes well I'll look at "proper" craft fairs - there's a garden/craft type show at a nearby village hall in August so that could be the next step. I'm on the lookout for school/small things before July as I'd like to shift some of the stock I've been building up, but haven't found anything yet.0
