my roses from m&s came this morning. theyre nice but for £19.50 i wouldve expected them to be slightly better imo
theyre very similar to the asda ones for £2
darent say anything to my other half though as he would be gutted :(

id definately complain, you are entitled to compensation and a refund. least they could do seeing as you ordered them in good time and your so far away from your girlfriend

I don't think you'll get very far really, because they'll say they informed you in good time, even though they didn't, have you read the t&c's? But £100 compensation?! what a joke! You would never get that much lol. Hope you can sort something out, let this be a lesson to never use internet flower sites and use a florist! x

Actually something similar happened to me on my birthday last year, i'd ordered £30 worth of party food online about two weeks in advance, and in the early hours of the morning of my birthday i received an emailing stating my order wouldnt be delivered on time. I rang up customer services who put me through to my local store who told me to go in and they would provide me with £30 worth of buffet food in store and I got my money refunded too. So I do think it is worth contacting customer services because in my experience they have been very helpful.

Anyway I have emailed M&S with a complaint over the ones I bought. I mentioned the ASDA were on a par with them. 24 hours for reply

Same thing happened to me with my 30th flowers last year sent from my family...First lot i had problems with actually getting to me, i was out they decided to not call my mobile or leave them with a neighbour....Hence they got to me a couple of days late and were more or less dead from being in the van...They sent me a second lot which turned up and the courier said to me sorry you've got a hole in your box but i don't think the flowers are damaged and walked off.....Needless to say flowers weren't great quality and yes damage had been done from being bashed around in the van...Box not only had a hole in but was battered....Anyway rang up again and they said they'd send a third lot which i said no thanks a refund would do. they're excuse was the courier and they were going to change the company they were using. Looks like they haven't...

My sister ended up sending me the refund and i went to a local florist and got a lovely made up bunch from there but it did kinda spoil it a little...

So sorry it happened to you, i felt the same way.
